After reading the reviews, I had to try the food! One review in particular made me want to try it even more after she talked about the owner, so my son and I went to get us some food and OMG, the closest you will ever get that true southern food here in the north! I was kinda expecting the worst and got the best! The owner is so well mannered and polite! Besides the food, she will have me come back due to her hospitality which she will pull in more customers than the rest due to her personality. And to those who love southern food
The food was sincerely just as bad as the vast majority of bad food that Syracuse is famously known for. This place charges high prices for low quantities of food that is not good. A quarter slab of ribs will cost you just as much as the cost of a half slab almost anywhere else and they are not well seasoned at all. This place serves food that is all smoke and mirrors. It looks nice, but does not taste as good as it looks. The greens are horribly salty. The ribs taste premade and boiled. The mac-n-cheese is extremely dry, and the small biscuit that comes with the meal is also terribly dry. I will never order from this place ever again and I would greatly suggest that no one else wast their money on this place. The food is not worth the cost at all, neither in taste nor portion.
In an attempt to support this business. I ordered food 3 different days via grubhub. Out of those 3 days, 2 days my order was canceled. The first time nearly 2 hours later. The other time 30 minutes later, with not even a courtesy call from the restaurant. Since I only got 1 of multiple orders, I feel 1 star is valid. The food I got was good but customer service needs a huge improvement before I buy from them again.
If you love flavor and a huge amount of food for a good price.... look no further. Their chicken is fried too perfection as well as their home fries. My mom ordered the yams and Mac and when I say packed with flavor, that would be an understatement. I highly recommend this place everyone
Customer service was excellent! Burger was well done and tender as ordered. Collards dance in your mouth, and are spicy with just the right amount of heat.
Soulutions ia a very authentic soul food experience. I would say of the few places which serves soul food can compare. I have been here countless of times with my fiancé and we truly enjoy the food and employees. They are very friendly and provide a unique experience every visit. There are also specials on Friday for fried catfish which are amazing!
Absolutely delicious food. From the ribs to the burger, the homefries and the mac and cheese. I never leave reviews and this place made me sign in and leave one before I even left. 10/10, would recommend and will definitely be back.
Should FIVE DIAMONDS. Should be 5,000 stars. It's OMG every single bite. The owner is the nicest person - as are the entire staff. My family can't decide on which menu item is the best. They're all tied.
Everything from the food to the service was excellent. I ordered the mustard chicken sandwich, collard greens, and Mac and cheese. The chicken sandwich was perfectly tender and had a blended of spices mixed in that was out of this world. Greens had so much flavor, I could’ve eaten a whole bowl of them alone. The Mac and cheese was one of the best I’ve had. They put hot sauce and chicken on top of the dish and it’s amazing. Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back and try the ribs
GREAT fried haddock special today. Tried it with the yams and mac & cheese. Both sides were solid too. The service was phenomenal on top of good food. Definitely would recommend.
