Dinner was okay nothing special and it wasn’t busy for a holiday. Regular menu with specials so that was a positive! That being said there was no bread, bread sticks or rolls prior to dinner, salad was not included not all meals included sides so it is was it is. As for the sides the only one that had one was our daughter- hand cut fries was her choice. They were awful!!!! Nothing worse than a soft limb French fry!!!! The service is said to be a team of servers, they were a okay but not aware of our empty plates & drinks. They walked by several times missing it! We would go back if other friends made the suggestion but we would look for somewhere else on our own.

French onion soup appetizer was first rate. New York strip steak was done perfectly as requested medium well. It was Very moist and flavorful. Staff was attentive. And polite. Good crowd but order was completed quickly. My dining partners ordered the filet and the were done perfectly as well with not a morsel left. Well done S and S. We will be back.

Unfortunately, Scotch has gone consistently downhill in the past few years. We go at least a couple times per year, giving it another shot, and leave feeling like the experience was decent or worse. Tonight was sadly worse. We started off right with a nice table, greeted promptly, appetizers came within a reasonable amount of time, Caesar salad was great. Those were the highlights. Thai calamari was a good flavor but not crisp, at all. I ordered the halibut special, which was ok, not nearly enough chimichurri sauce , the fish was pretty dry, and the curried rice tasted and looked like Rice-a-Roni. My date ordered a 11oz filet, medium, it came out almost rare. When the server came back to check on us, she took his steak back to the kitchen to cook longer and didn't offer an ounce of an apology. We waited forever for our entrees and not one of our servers said a word about a delay or offered anything while we waited. Definitely will be our last visit; there are too many other great restaurants in CNY that offer much better food and service.

The prefect spot for date night, or just a delightful meal! I cannot think of a single thing they could improve.Reservation is recommended but not required. As for the meal, my steak was cooked perfectly to order, fantastic selection of wine and spirits especially whiskey and scotch, best cheesecake I've ever had hands down, pleasant surprises such as complimentary ice cream with our desserts and the most attentive, professional and affable staff of any establishment.

Food always first rate as is the service. Atmosphere conducive to a quiet and relaxing dinner. The table next to us wasn't of that frame of mind which kind of took away from our dining experience since we heard more of their conversation than of ours. Our fault for not asking to be reseated. The team approach to making sure we had everything we wanted during our meal is a nice touch. A place for special occasions for sure.

A group of friends meet here for a holiday get together for the last 20+ years for a reason, good food, service and setting. This year the service was poor, forgetting drinks for guest, rarely seeing if the party need anything or comment on quality of meal. Known for Prime Rib that melts in the mouth was time tough and chewy. During these Covid times seems all you get are excuses. However, there are other alternative places to take our gathering. They most likely will not get a 2nd chance. Not Sorry

Generally I have had good experiences at the one in Buffalo. This one had a prime rib that was cold and tough as leather and the fat was hard and rubbery.Disappointing for a place that is supposed to specialize in good cuts.

the steak was the best I've ever had. it was cooked to perfection. the mashed potatoes were fluffy & buttery. the service & food was a 10/10. only downside is that it's pricey, but definitely worth it .

First time at Scotch 'N Sirloin last night for a NYE dinner. ABSOLUTELY delicious all-around. Dinner, Drinks, & dessert A+ for @JayneRobison1 & I.We spent over $100 having drinks dessert, and I ordered steak with the lobster tail. You could certainly eat for under $100 and have a great meal. We wanted to make sure we got the full experience and it was well worth it. We'll be back!

Best Restaurant in Central New York!!! The food is fantastic, the service tremendous and the ambiance with the beautiful brick fireplace is amazing!! We’ve dined at the Scotch for almost 40 years and it’s just as good as ever. Thanks Tom for keeping your families tradition alive! Thanks also to Margie, Jen and Jack for making us feel so welcomed!!
