We went to the closed location on Thompson Road and I really liked the vibe with that one. It’s homey and who doesn’t like to eat breakfast in a place with a homey vibe? Anyway, finally back but in a new location. Food didn’t disappoint as expected. I like the interior of the new place but didn’t get that homey feeling, to modern for my taste. I am giving 4 stars because I remember the old place to have servers and staff to be pleasant. I just thought maybe our server was not having a good day. Here are photos of what me and my husband ordered.
What a happy mistake. I’ve heard about all the amazing ways the owner of rise and shine has given back to the community, but until now, I’ve never had the chance to eat there. I say happy mistake because we made other plans, but that fell through, so we ended up at rise and shine. We had a short wait, so we walked around the cute Westcott area. Then we received a text that our table was ready. Our waitress Carlie help us navigate the fantastic menu. Carlie was terrific, our coffee cups were never empty, and she ensured our boys got “special” straws. The Bloody Mary was crazy good and big. Tricky to explain, but the picture should help?. The care and attention to our dishes were simply breathtaking. What a great experience. From Carlie to the food plus, rise and shine gives back to the community. I can not wait to go here again; it’s my new favorite.
Everyone in Syracuse seems to be super friendly and the staff at Rise N Shine are no different. Apart from the friendly service the food choice was immense and we all really enjoyed it. I had the Westcott California Benny - the fried green tomatoes were the highlight.
This place is decorated in a very fun and bright way to cheer up your mood. The menu is amazing and has lots of choices and variety. I like how they combine different concepts of traditional menu items to deliver a new twist on what you will eat. The food presentation is very good.We ordered the corned beef n hash with eggs along with a skillet plate. The corned beef was great and is made on site.Just take a look at this bloody mary I ordered. It's a drink with its own appetizers.Anna our server was very helpful, friendly, and professional. She answered all our questions with patience and a smile. She was on top of things. She made our dining experience very pleasant.Kid-friendliness: This place is great for the entire family.Parking: They have a parking lot but there is plenty of street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility here.
This was my first time here since they moved. Man what an upgrade. The menu is so unique. The food and coffee was amazing. They had such a wide selection of breakfast cocktails. The staff was so nice and everything was so fresh. The hash browns were def the star of the show. Can't wait to go back!
This hidden gem in Syracuse is phenomenal! The atmosphere and energy are high and vibe just right with everyone. The baristas and bartenders make the most amazing drinks, while the chefs in the kitchen cook up beautiful and flavorful food!
Amazing brunch with my family. They have a awesome patio for when the weather is nice and they do allow dogs on the patio. The food was so amazing, as well as their specialty mimosas. I had the Oreo pancakes that were amazing and my family members has chicken and waffles and enjoyed them as well. The staff was all super friendly and efficient as well.
This spot is dope! Visiting from Atlanta GA, this place fits the energy I like. Visiting Syracuse I didn't know what to expect on my visit. Rise N Shine has a big city feel & vibe to it. I had the Chicken n Waffle plate, wife had one of their many omelet options. Food & Drinks was really good! The people that work here were really friendly & we felt very welcome. 5 Stars. If you are from the city & like music while eating this place is great!
So far this is the only place I've had good food while in Syracuse... here's that.****make a reservation, this is where the college kids come for breakfast, parking is limited unless you park else where, and they close at 3pm.Can't wait to go back. There's so Many cool things on the menu to try. Food was sooooo good, and they serve big portion. Wish they added cheese to the grit.
First time coming here had to try it outAnd their creations look cool! But could taste a lot betterGreat for pictures and to see some amazing drinksBut the pancakes just tasted like cheap ingredients honestly, big hype And pricey for a brunch joint.
