Look, I’m more than willing to dish out 60-80 dollars on an exceptional steak, but this place misses the mark on almost every level. Unfortunately, Prime is a budget steakhouse veiled as a premium establishment. It’s not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s not “good” in any real sense. Most bars in the area serve a better steak than Prime. Try the York, or Darkhorse, and you’ll get a better steak for under 30 dollars. The drinks were pretty bad too, but I can brush that off as the bartender having a bad night. Also, as a side note I saw the owner berating some staff in a pretty unfair way on our way out. I get it, working in restaurants can be hectic, but it leaves you with a pretty dirty feeling as a customer having to be exposed to that. All in all, the place is worth going to once so you can tell yourself you’ll never go again.

We had a wonderful experience here. We started with the beef vegetable soup, and the French onion soup. It is one of the best French onion soups we have ever had. We then followed up with the NY strip, and the filet mignon. They were cooked to perfection. Our server was beyond amazing. We would definitely return.

If this was Outback Steakhouse, it would probably be 5 stars. But it’s not, it is considered a high end steak house, so it must be judged as such. I ordered the medium rare ribeye with a side of asparagus and hollandaise sauce. The steak came out a little more medium than medium rare. Not something I would expect from an establishment that specializes in steaks. It had a good taste, but I have had much better from places like Morton’s. The hollandaise sauce was a little gummy for my taste. It had probably been sitting around for a while. On a good note, the oysters that they get are very good quality. Overall it was good food, but wasn’t really worth the price on this visit.

Food is subpar at best to be so expensive. Every time I go the experience is very lackluster. I've never been wow'd. They definitely don't cater to customers. The spinach and crab spring rolls were disgusting and oily. Literally took a small bite and didn't touch them. All the waitress said was "aw I'm sorry" and still charged full price. I would only go here if this was my last resort and every other steakhouse in the city is booked.

This establishment is very unprofessional me and my party ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and the salmon and found it to be very distasteful and undercooked. We asked it to be taken back and in exchange for the salmon I wanted to order a New York Strip steak. The waitress sent a bartender back to us to collect the food. She came back in tears saying she couldn’t take the food and she would be fired and if we refused to pay the police would be called. We immediately asked to speak to the owner and headchef. Then the hostess ( Michelle) proceeds to lie and say the owner left and wouldn’t tell me where the head chef was. We found the owner at the bar and he said he knew nothing of the situation and sent us to the hostess who then says that we should not order food if we didn’t like it and even though only two bites were taken out the food. We then asked how are we suppose to know we don’t like it without tasting it. They also pretended not to know we were threatened to call the police. Then the waitress darrien joined the conversation and made continuous ignorant and aggressive commentary towards us throughout the conversation. They brought it our food back and they had taken half the salmon off. Very terrible experience. We had a 1,000 bill and they couldn’t take off 100. The quality of food is not worth the price you pay.

My mac n cheese had a hair in it and my steak was cold. i tried to send it back but they denied and said that they would get the cops involved. Never go here, i mean that wholeheartedly.

Filet mignon was good, roasted garlic potatoes and calamari were great. Price is on the high side.

Delicious steak man, absolutely delicious! The prices are high, but so is Peter Luger. I’ll definitely come back. I’m only knocking a star because I can tell the brownie is from a box.

For steak house the steak was terrible definitely not prime meat and ordered rare came out well done. everyone else's food was excellent

Reserved a small room for a business dinner. Left the required deposit. This was all over the phone as I am from out of state. Nothing said, nothing signed. A week prior to reservation 2 attendees contract COVID with others exposed to those individuals I feel the responsible thing to do is re-schedule. Owner (Dan K) gets on the phone and doesn’t even give his name. First thing out of his mouth is “Yeah, I’m keeping your deposit, send me your email if you want a receipt” would not agree to reschedule, or even allow me to come in and have dinner for the 300 dollar deposit. This guy is Shady! I would have spent between $3000 - $5000 if rescheduled. He said he had to buy extra food, can’t imagine how as we never set the prefixed menu. He must really be desperate for the money. Look at all of the other reviews that say food was good, but this guy was a rude jerk.
