I believe I just stopped there to get a drink. From what I saw, this place had no Code Violations. There property was in shape.
Was in Syracuse for a conference at the college. Convenient location right across the street from the main entrance, and went there twice. First time was pretty early, place was dead, very awesome bartender and good food. Second time it was packed, but the staff got to me quick.Cannot comment on the alcohol, because I don't drink.
Okay. Loud. Part of the experience. Staff were nice. Long wait for food items.
The Orange Crate was somewhat disappointing.The selection of their beers was lacking. The bartender was very knowledgeable and attentive. The burgers we ordered were flavorful and properly cooked as ordered.
We traveled to Syracuse to visit our son for the last senior basketball game. We decided to go in to the Orange Crate for a few drinks after the game. We got a round of 3 drinks and saw that the total was $31.50, which is fine; HOWEVER, we saw that the bartender added an auto-gratuity of 15%, again, fine. Then he added TWO additional gratuities to our bill! That is a $15 tip for 3 drinks. This is an unacceptable practice! Maybe they did that because we are parents? Do they also do this to our children that attend Syracuse that may not pay attention to his/her receipt? We brought this up to the manager and she said she would credit us back the entire bill and re-charge our credit card the proper amount. Upon checking our bill, all she did was charge another $40 and did not credit anything. We paid $89.48 for three weak drinks!! LOOK AT YOUR BILL PEOPLE!

Food was good but took forever to be made and it wasn't busy
I had the special sauce wings I can’t remember the names but these were dynamite!! The sauce was delicious and the meat on the wings was perfectly cooked and they weren’t well done or too crispy!The pizza reminded me of Chuck E. Cheese (which I loved). The sauce snd cheese and dough were perfectly made! this was a surprise I was just grabbing some food and this was the quickest option but man I will be returning!
