A neighborhood restaurant with genuine Vietnamese food, low prices and high quality. Used to making reservations for pre-event dinner (we were headed to the John Mulaney standup at the Oncenter), I was surprised that no reservations are available here, a low-overhead operation with an astounding variety, freshly prepared and well-cooked entrees and the comfort of a neighborhood restaurant. Never realized how tired I get with the glam restaurant industry and reminded how fortunate in upstate New York that we have gems like the New Century.

food was great. it was done in a timely manner. very friendly staff.

3% charge using credit card. 15% required tips but with minimum service. Customers pay in the front desk. Oh and No itemized receipt. This business may treat their old customers okay but will have hard time gaining any new repeating customers. This is a one time deal and I will never go back.

I've tried all the Vietnamese restaurant in Syracuse and this is hands down best place in town. Price is unbeatable with a big menu with great range of other types of Vietnamese food. Their pho is full of flavors, fulfilling, and perfect for upstate NY winter. Their vermicelli is awesome too. Super tasty drinks - different types of shakes and delicious Vietnamese coffee. This place is almost my cafeteria when I was in Syracuse for school. Always fast service and they prep your pick up meal quickly when you call ahead. Yes, the service can come across a tiny bit cold sometimes but that's when you know you are in a good pho spot- and I definitely feel like their service is improving!

Automatic tip added to the bill is a turn off. Nothing is posted in the restaurant during the dining experience about automatic gratuity added. The owner is missing the point and I think your losing repeat business, it’s a let down. Patrons should decide when to leave tip according to service. I normally leave 20% and I think most customers leave more than 15% tip but with the 15% added to the bill the. I guess that’s all you get from me.

Food is ok. Understandable why they charged 3% for using credit card to pay. It is no reason for them to charge 3% for using debit card. Come on , you got the money directly from the bank, you paid “nothing”, but you still charged customers!!!!

The coffee is amazing and both of the dishes I tried were impeccable. The hosts were awesome too.Simple, fresh food. I can’t wait to go here again.

Food was okay. I had the Pho Thai and my husband had the Pho Ga and both were smaller than normal bowls of pho. I would've given them 4 stars if it weren't for the portion size of the meals. They also add a 3% up charge for credit cards and automatically add 15% for tip without letting the customer know beforehand, very bad business practice.

Authentic Vietnamese ? with by far one of the best Pho’s in CNY!
