I ate here for the 1st time today and it was delicious! That mac & cheese was so cheesy and flavorful, and the BBQ chicken was so moist and tender. I had enough left over that I got dinner out of it tonight too and I am a happy girl! I will definitely be back!
We took a girls trip to Syracuse from Buffalo NewYork ! Oh my we hit the jack pot ! The food was so delicious & we were not disappointed at all ! Miss prissy keep doing what you do ! Great food with excellent service. God bless you ! ❤️
The food is superb! It’s amazing and super delicious! We ate at salt city market and knew she had to cater our event. Each dish she made was better than the next. Green beans, collard greens, yams, chicken, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, salmon - it was all so gooood! I’ve never had salmon in a cream sauce before. She’s an excellent cook and you really must give this restaurant a try. She even provided free bread. I’m so glad we found her shop.

Old male cashier at taste of syracuse was extremely rude and had no class or customer service whatsoever. Waited paitently for 5 mins at the booth while he was on his phone just looking past me. Tried to get his attention multiple times he kept ignoring me telling me one second. He finally got off his phone and just looked pasted me and screamed something to his friends all laughing and stuff. Since he was finally off the phone I asked him if I could get some food and he says one second again and just goes back on his phone. I ask him one last time how long it would be or if they weren't ready yet so I could not waste my time and just come back. He literally yells at me and says "then go, just go somewhere else then"You are in a customer service industry. You all need some serious customer service training.
Always try and support the community but Miss Prissy in Salt City Market is unprofessional. From the rudeness to careless remarks. The only one that is pleasant is the son. They never have yams and when they do, most of the time its canned. I still try and support them but it's always something with this place.
She is never open! It’s 6pm on a Friday. There are many patrons at the salt city market due to it being graduation and this lady is CLOSED! I wish they would end her lease!!!!!!!!!!! ASAP! Her service SUCKS!!

Cashier was extremely unprofessional and clearly used to being lazy and not doing the job he should be. Told him I was there to pick an order up which was already past the specified pick up time to which he tells me it’ll be 10 minutes and hands me a beeper. I sat at a nearby table for 5 of those 10 minutes watching him stand behind the counter on his phone not even initiating any type of preparation. Mind you, his gut was hanging out over his pants this entire time as well which is unprofessional and off putting in itself. I called grubhub and cancelled the order and received a refund. I won’t personally be ordering from this place again, and I also deliver for delivery apps as well and now make a point not to accept orders from there. Hire better employees please.
Bad customer arrived experience. Really hate this. Very rude when trying to explain what happens. He said the “customer isn’t always right”. I’m not use to this type of customer service. Very disappointed as I like to support black-owned businesses. Oh well!!! Won’t be back!! Food was just ok!
