Not bad! I ordered some empanadas and they were pretty tasty. The beef and chicken empanada tasted similarly seasoned with taco seasoning. I think there could be more depth to them than just taco seasoning flavor. Some really good beef empanadas I've had tasted like juicy beef fat-- theirs tasted like sloppy joe almost. I think the chicken empanada was on the drier side, I would've like more cheese in it. On the bright side there was a ton of chicken and beef in the empanadas. The breading was good, slightly crispy and soft. They were like 2-3 dollars a piece, so you could argue you get what you pay for. If they got upped in quality I'm sure paying an extra dollar or two would be worth it.I'll definitely be coming back to try more stuff, they have a food line system I didn't try. Basically you get to choose meats, rice, and sides for like 10 or 13 bucks.

Overpriced for the quality you’re getting. I got their “large” plate which seems like a pretty standard size. The rice and beans were both pretty basic and bland, so the beef stew was the only thing that gave the meal flavor. With a basic bottled water, my total came to $16.20. I’ve been to other Mexican places where you get far better value.

I've read the negative comments and thought I'd take a chance anyway, being that they were just around the corner. Ordered A steak burrito, chicken quesadilla and cheese quesadilla. All three were hot, fresh and reasonable in size for the price so, I won.I plan on doing this again next week with something different on the menu and reporting what I experience... so far so good.FYI: From ordering to picking up bag was 35 minutes. If you order online or call it in before or during lunch; make sure you give them a few more minutes than they report and you won't be disappointed.

Was a tad confused how to order, I wanted to try a bunch of different items but I dont think the woman who took our order understood what we wanted. Everything was pretty good, especially the pulled apart pork.My huge complaint and reason for the low rating is because we got a tamale and not only was not great but it was cold even after being taken off the the hot plate. This is super dangerous for food poisoning reasons. I had maybe half of it and ended up getting pretty sick later that night...

Decent home cooked Latin food. Not pretentious. Inside has a cafeteria feel.

The food has always been tasty. We have been ordering here often since they opened. However, the amount they put in the container gets smaller every time we order. I ordered many things. Today, my personal plate was beef stew with yellow rice. Today that included 8 cubes of beef (yes I was petty enough to count them because I was surprised). To put it into perspective, look at the past reviews, they used to put the meat in both small sides of the container then the beans over the rice. The meal costs $12. Rice and beans are really cheap to make.

I love the one on Lodi their food seems fresher and hot. The Blv location food looks old all the time meat is dry definitely not the same kitchen. Overall I love this restaurant but I rather the Lodi location!!!

Delicious food. I had beans and rice and ox tails. Got a slice of raspberry cake as well. Everything was on point.

I spend $12 on this for it to be filled like this it's a rip off then my quesadilla is soggy my pupusa was hard I would give 0 stars if I would a rip off $40 i just spent for the food to be trash

They burn the oxtail and you can taste it. I cannot believe they're still selling it. Lost my taste for this place.
