With the title you wonder why I rate this a 3. Actually I rate it a 2.5.....5 for food and service and 1 for ownership. That equals 2.5. The food was absolutely delicious. I would say best I've had outside of Mexico but is actually better than any I've had IN Mexico too. And I've been many times. It was fresh, flavourful, hot, and delicious. We had tacos, vegetarian burrito, and the chips and salsa. The premium Margaritas were great as well. The issue is the automatic 20% tip. This is a joke. We were actually going to tip our server much more that 20% but this irritated us and so the owner cost his staff money. Also, don't think for a minute, regardless what retort he/she might put on here, that the servers see all that money. It is similar to the 18% service charges you see on a cruise ship. The servers will tell you first hand they do not get that money. Google it if you don't believe me. I would rather see the prices increased than see this as a stand-alone charge. Mind you it is already expensive here so I'm sure they will face reduced patrons if they do. Automatic tips are usually saved for tables of 6-8 or above. For a table of 2 it is uncalled for. Also, what if service was terrible? Now that I know it only applies to bills over $50, I will start splitting the bill. Again the food and service was great....hold your breath dealing with the rest.

8/5/2022: Not too busy, friendly staff, authentic decor, tasty food, and decent prices for the serving sizes (not pictured: the red Sangria--it was spectacular!)

Food was okay. Not really authentic Mexican food. But server was very kind.

Overall it was great! We happened upon this restaurant walking down the street. After reviewing the menu, we decided to give it a try. Good move. We were seated outside, handed menus, and moments later staff arrived with warm chips and tasty salsa and glasses of ice water. Shortly later, Nick, our friendly waiter gave us menus. It was a hard choice as the menu was quite full. After a small amount of time he came back and gave us some recommendations, which were were happy to try. I had the vegetarian El Trio. My son had Make Your Own Comb of Three with a Chile Poblano. The food was fresh and flavorful. The prices seemed spot on. We received a second basket of chips. I had a guava mojito, also recommended by Nick. This could easily become a favorite place, but we live six hours away.

An excellent meal. It started with a spicy cucumber margarita and guacamole. Both were really good. The for entre, I had the vegetarian burritos. They were delicious! A little small, but very good! The rice was also spot on. I also a good portion of my step brother's cheese quesadilla. The rest of my family was very happy with their food and drinks as well! I would definitely recommend a visit, and I do not think you can go wrong with anything you order there. Our server was great and on top of things as well!

Best Mexican restaurant in downtown syracuse. Liked the dessert at the end. Jarritos is my favorite ?. I've been here multiple times.

We ate here before going to the landmark for a show. Our waitress was awesome. The music was perfect. It was a beautiful evening to sit outside on Friday evening. The food was perfectly flavored. Definitely will be back. I wish I had gotten photos. Oh well next time.

We went here as it was close to the hotel and we were very satisfied and surprised how good the food and drinks were. Great music playing and the staff was very accommodating to all of our requests.

Hands down this is a gold mine I've watched them grow into three locations they spare no expense on hospitality Good times culture and they do not I mean do not play when it comes to authentic food. Also the booth that you sit in are handmade carved like Aztec warriors there's a drink I seen that was 4 ft tall I'm telling you guys this is an experience of no other

The ambience is great! Love the decor here. If you sit in the front dining room the music is so loud that you're shouting at your friends for a basic conversation. Our waiter was great, I would mention his name but it was too loud to hear. Overall, the food wasn't that great. It lacked flavor. Nothing really spicy or flavorful to make your taste buds dance. I had to even request salt and add it for an assist. Probably wouldn't recommend.
