Man, I've been going to Luigis all my life. Literally. My dad has gone to Luigis all his life. Since the early 60s. Luigis was always a solid place for our family and Luigi def treated us like family always. We went for the first time since they sold to the new owner. Personally, this saddens me. Meatballs were ice cold, my girls Alfredo chicken looked like catfood. The sauce seems like they make big batches and let it sit for days. Tasted sour. Both my sister and my stomachs were sour after. When Luigi owned it, there were people out the door, this place had literally zero people in it. I think last night was a write off and it saddens me to no end. Luigis will just be a memory for me and my family moving forward.
The staff and team were very friendly. Tonight was the first time in this restaurant. Extremely disappointed. My pasta broccoli was over cooked. My husbands baked ziti tasted more like ketchup than marinara. Do they not taste their own sauce? The restaurant felt very dirty in the dining area. The table was separating from the wall? Sadly, I wanted to enjoy the experience but won’t be returning.
Luigi's used to have excellent Italian food. Hadn't eaten food from there for awhile but my family and I got food from there today. It was horrible. The chicken pastini soup so inedible. It was like the chef poured a whole container of Morton's Salt in it. The red sauce was also very salty with no Italian spices. Needless to say I will not be returning to eat there.
Went for a late lunch, it was quiet. Food was very good. Eggplant parmesan, baked ziti and special sub. Everyone liked their meal and the background music.
We picked up a delicious, hot dinner. It came with everything the menu said was included.nice fresh bread slices with butter and a side salad. My cavatelli with broccoli and mushrooms tasted great, not to oily or garlicky. It was worth going alittle bit out of our way.A nice solid old staple restaurant.
This is literally the best pizza of my life❤️
My friend told me to try this place because it was so good but it was far from that! I guess they got new owners and it is really bad now. I was excited to order some alfredo, such an easy dish to make. It was aweful, I would not cal that Alfredo at all! It was some white sauce, really runny but when I tasted it, it was like they took a whole lemon and just squeezed the whole thing over it. I couldn't even choke it down and I was starving! I brought it home thinking someone in the house might like it but even the 2 teenagers wouldn't touch it and it got thrown away and for the price I paid I was pretty upset. If you don't see someone eating the food, you should ask why. The bread was good though. I would never return there.
went there weekly for years when the older people ran it, one overpriced GrubHub order was embarrassing and ridiculous. the owner wouldn't get on the phone and gave me a lousy $10 credit back. most of the order was missing. never had that problem years ago.
What ever he is, the new manager or owner/ Mr ponytail man is driving this once great restaurant right into the ground! The food is at best (sub par now) and the portions are about 1/2 the size! For Mr ponytail man one of the rudest people my path has ever crossed ! The place is only open sometimes and that's for pickup only due to nobody wants to work for him ! Seriously sad !
I am so disappointed. I had ordered out about 6 Mos ago and I wasnt thrilled. I sort of wrote it off and ordered again there last night. I ordered the Luigi's Italian Combo. Oh. MY..Goodness..The entire bottom was overcooked ( as in burnt black). The salad was several days old - Lettuce leaves yellow, but the leaves themselves themselves were from the Olde lettuce!!
