Loved the Johnny rockets in Buffalo and was so excited to find one in syracuse, we get there and the first thing I noticed is there's no jukeboxes on the table. That's one of the things Johnny rockets is known for, we asked the waitress where are the jukeboxes on the table? She said why would we have juice boxes on the table? We said no the jukeboxes, and she had no idea what we were talking about. The wait staff doesn't dance anymore either and instead of playing music just from the '50s or 60s they were playing music from the '80s. The whole experience and atmosphere was completely disappointing, Johnny rockets is not what it used to be. We got a burger and a hot dog and two shakes, the food was totally disappointing, paper thin greasy burger, the hot dog had a weird flavor and just the taste and texture of everything was not good. Although the milkshakes were delicious, the chocolate malt would get five stars. Would never go back. I don't know why they had to change something that was so special and unique. Johnny rockets was one of the small wholesome feel-good pieces from the 50s era that we had in this modern world and now it's one more thing lost.
First time here and LOVED it!! Our server, Jamaal, was amazing and what a sense of humor. I wanted to put him in my to-go box. LOL the food was absolutely delicious! I will be back.
My favorite place to take my family when it comes to dinning in the mall. I do miss the days when they were in the old location in the mall because I how they used sing and dance along to the music. The food and the atmosphere is always superb. This place deserve more than 5 stars? that how great is. From the managers to the servers everything is great. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know who come visit Syracuse.
Very friendly staff, baby friendly, and good food! Staff was very polite and thorough. Didn't wait for a highchair didn't fret when my 1yo was a little messy. Didn't even have to ask for a refill it just showed up!
Service was poor. Server was very friendly but not attentive to my table. Less small talk and greater attention to detail would be appreciated.
$36 + tip bill for my son and i to go eat here. 2 burgers and 2 order of fries with 2 fountain drinks, no dessert. Food is barely above fast food quality now. we have gone to tullys and gotten 2 meals and an app for same price. won't be back.
VERY overpriced, nothing special, burgers and fries. ZERO interest in ever paying $50 for 3 burgers at lunch again. I only give it 2 stars because our waitress was awesome.
Always love my food here! Staff is always wonderful as well. If you see the waitress MacKenzie let her know she is wonderful.
We stopped to grab a bite to eat here on 2/2/22 and the place was so, so busy. The service was amazing considering how crazy it was, The food was great and I just love their fries. While we were there, we were sitting so that we could see people passing by the restaurant. We noticed a man attempting to walk by and he was obviously very short of breath and looked like he may pass out. He was totally struggling. As we went to get up to help, our server, Courtnie and another server (manager?) flew out of the restaurant and helped him!! They got a wheelchair for him and were comforting him. It was such a beautiful example of humanity.
Been comin here my whole life. Even before the updated building. Place is great just wanna say that steve the waiter is the man. He is the greatest guy makes ya laugh and is just a great overall guy. Love the place and mostly love steve. He also looks like jesus which is a hige tip bonus. Praise thy lord
