So I didn't actually order or eat anything from here myself but I picked up food for a delivery for someone else. The food however, did smell amazing and the portion sizes on the takeout food was amazing. So much for for the little price they paid for it. It is authentic and made fresh. They did only have one person on working when I was there but it was during the day on a weekday. Maybe it's different during the weekends or nights. Being that there was only one person on, it took a little while to get the order, about 15-20 minutes waiting. And the order was placed 10 minutes prior to that Ave it took me about 15 minutes to get there. So let's say after about 25-30 minutes after placing the order I still had to wait another almost 20 minutes for it to be prepped and bagged up for me. But other than the long wait time, the food looked great and smelled even better
Stopped here on way back to Rochester, NY from NYC. This is not it Chief! I am not Puerto Rican, but my wife is. But, we have been married for 35yrs and I can even taste what’s not right. First, I said the rice was short grain, my wife said humm, there is no sofrito, and pigeon peas in rice were hard. NET is it tasted like Goya boxed rice!! It had no FLAVOR Pork was a table spoon size serving and dry. Alcapurria had no flavor.

Amazing, authentic and absolutely delicious! I have visited Puerto Rico and holy moly - Jandy's food brought me right back there. The mofongo was perfectly seasoned as well as the roasted pork. The desserts were the perfect accompaniment to top off our delightful meals. Do not miss the opportunity to get some sweet corn rolls. These cheese filled treats are a must-have! We will definitely return ?

Boy am I impressed! I did door dash and was shocked how well the food was packaged. Even better than that it was piping hot! How they did it I have no idea! Everything was phenomenal! A hidden gem for sure!
Ordered from Jandy through Door Dash. The pepper steak and white rice with beans, beef and cheese empanada, plantains and pina colada drink were all delicious and very well packed.
This place is one of the most underrated in Syracuse. We have never had a bad meal. It's authentic, fresh, the portions are huge, the price is great. We've ordered numerous times and the quality is consistent and accuracy is spot on, plus it's just absolutely delicious! We love the empanadas, pepper steak , and mofongo.
i usually dont even think to do reviews but this combo plate i had today was so good i could cry :'((( i got plantain and mango juice too its the best tasting food i've eaten in weeks and im so sooo happy bc i been having a rough a$$ week and haven't been eating or enjoying much at all, THANK YALL SO MUCH
