Cake donuts aren't my favorite ?♂️ but they were smaller and not dry at all! Toppings were tasty! Especially the Cinnamon Roll and French Toast!
I admit, I prefer yeasted doughnuts over cake doughnuts, but I have had plenty of excellent cake doughnuts. These were really just ok, nothing amazing, in my opinion. They were good and there is a variety of interesting toppings, but everything just seemed to be fairly average to me. I was so excited at the peanut butter flavors and the cinnamon toast flavors, but they just didn't wow me because they just seemed to have very muted flavor in the icings. The cannoli doughnut seemed like it could have worked, but it didn't - the filling just didn't go well with the cake doughnut. The milk & cookies one was the best, I thought. So, I realize that if you are a cake doughnut fan, these are probably pretty good and it's worth a stop, but they are definitely not the best cake doughnuts I've ever had.
Maybe I should have ordered a hot donut vs. getting the ones that's been sitting in the window. I got the Oreo & fruity pebbles. Being pregnant there's not many options. I wanted to treat myself but wasn't satisfied with the donut texture. Dry an stale. Wouldn't recommend anything sitting in the window. The woman decorating the donuts without proper food safety gloves was off-putting as well. Front counter girl was sweet. Good customer service on her end.

Great donuts! Best I have had in Syracuse. However, they also have some of the best customer service in town hands down.
The donuts are very good, but they're all essentially the same, common kind (cake donuts) with different frostings; it would be nice to see a bit more originality. They also have good strong coffee, in fact, I've gone here many times for only the coffee, and will likely continue to do so. There's very little room to sit, and no public bathroom. This shop is a valuable part of the local color, and I'm glad my neighborhood has it, but in a vibrant town like Downtown Syracuse, you will find better places to visit. Overall, this spot gets a B+ from my accounting, and it is my sincere hope that they will improve that grade to an A.
All donuts are basic cake donut with a variety of different toppings. They do taste good, but definitely not impressed with the prices!(5 donuts for $13)
