Everything was served at the right temperature and beautiful presentation. The taste and flavors were excellent.
Excellent food and atmosphere! Great waitress! Recommend to everyone!
Great professional service. One of the best in the Syracuse area for sure!
Excellent Italian food with wide menu choices for those who want meat or fish without sauce. The outside area was lovely and quite large. Everyone loved their main meal and we all ordered differently (4 adults, 1 toddler who ate some of her order - regular menu, 1 baby). Drinks were all good choices (old fashion, sangria 1 other mixed drink). Desserts were yummy. They have no problem if you want to share desserts. Try to make reservations as it is very popular for special occasions and a nice meal out. Beware. They have a very small parking lot so you may need to park on the street.
Tried reserve on line. Only late seating. Called. Told to come down for seating. Arrived told 30min wait or sit at Bar. Took Bar. Very busy. Very noisy. 10 min to get barmaid attention. 30 min to get food. Barmaid mistook the order. Wife finished dinner while I waited for replacement food. No discount for mistake. Salads were very good. Wife’s stuffed Salmon with crab risotto delicious. My Veal Marsala not good. Hard veal with too many viens. Marsala sauce too much wine and sugar. Pasta too al denté. Bread with spaghetti dipping sauce too salty. Good place depending on the dish you order, your taste preferences and tolerance for noise.
Great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Several of the cocktails from the new spring menu are must-try.
Francesca's never disappoints when it comes to food. It's always excellent and always consistent! Our waitress was phenomenal as well. Truly attentive all night, gave great recommendations, never rushed us and was very nice! I'm only giving 4 stars due to the music. This is the second time we've encountered this and the second time we have said something and they either don't get it or don't care. We were seated in the room behind the back of the bar and it's all hardwood and brick. The music was so loud everyone in the room had to almost yell to have a conversation. You honestly couldn't hear yourself think and it really detracted from the whole experience. If I'm going to spend $250 for dinner for 3 people your establishment better be hitting on all cylinders. We asked the waitress to turn down the music and by the middle of the meal it was at a normal level. The noise level in the room went down immediately and people could have normal conversation.Loud music in a bar is fine, but it's really not acceptable for a dining experience. I'm hoping they can get this right.
Always a great meal and today was no exception. Was kind of disappointed that a member of our party decided to not have alcohol as a designated driver and was charged for every refill of a Diet Coke. Really? Kind of low class for a place that is this good.
We were seated directly upon our arrival for our reservation. The wait staff was courteous and efficient funny even. While I had to make a second choice of entree, I was not disappointed with choice number 2. The rack of lamb was very delicious. I was too full to even consider dessert. My only criticism is that it was quite loud which made it difficult to hear what was being said around me.
We’ve always loved eating at Francesca’s. It’s considered one of the classier restaurants in Syracuse. But the past few times, it’s reminded me of a loud, crowded, pickup joint. It’s so loud, that my husband and I had to wait to leave to be able to chat and have some conversation. The bar area is overcrowded. The service was mediocre at best and the food was just okay and lukewarm. Not to mention they ask for credit card information in order to make a reservation and will charge your card if you can’t make it. Ummmmm… this is a restaurant, not a Dr office. And where are you storing customers’ personal credit card information????
