Amazing time with family and awesome staff
Amazing service and staff and very tasty food!!! Highly recommend!! Best place for bbq ribs and pulled pork!!!
Wifes bday choice.. great food. nice atmosphere! seated faster than we were told. great service! love this place.
Loved the service! Now the food, this was my first trip here so I got the pick 3 platter. The chicken was best, then brisket, and finally ribs. The food pleased but didn’t wow me. The taste lacked the smokey bbq taste. It was more like a gas grill meal. Again, not bad but not southern.
This is by far the best BBQ in New York. Food come out well prepared and hot. There are lots of options, as long as they don't run out (from popularity!)
This is not to be missed. Wonderful combinations, flavor concoctions. Service was quick and food delivered quicker than expected, especially with the wait of 30 min for a table. Great vibe. Parking is a little tough, but be patient as the food is worth it
Great local BBQ place. The manager told us it was the original restaurant with more in New York State.Evan was our server and had great suggestions and knowledgeable about the menu.We started with the spicy deviled eggs not too spicy, just enough for a kick. Then we split the two meat combo dinner. Picked pulled pork and the brisket. Brisket came with jalapeños. Jalapeños were large slices and easy to either cut up or ignore. We picked baked beans and Mac and cheese for our sides. Delicious!!!According to the manager the name came from the man who started the restaurant whose name was Dino and kind of old so the Dinosaur name fit.Parking might be an issue. We got lucky and found a metered spot on the street.

I don't even normally like ribs but dinosaur had me drooling over them after my husband got them! What a gem of Syracuse we wish we discovered sooner! Amazing food and service. We love the ribs and brisket sliders/nachos. Can't wait to bring friends from out of town here.
My fiance and I went to Syracuse for the first time over the weekend and we were recommended this place to eat. This place did not disappoint! Our wait was an hour to get in but that's because they are popular and very busy. It was soooo worth the wait! Our waitress Lisa was very friendly and helpful despite being so busy. Our food was ready very quickly, was fresh and hot, and tasted absolutely amazing. Kudos to the cooks! I would highly recommend eating here when in the area!
