I love the food always great n always hot unfortunately today as i walked in there was a smell that was a bit funky like the place got mopped with a dirty mop
We went there for lunch. So many options that looked good. Portions were on the large size and prices were reasonable. We all enjoyed our meals. I thought the interior was charming. I loved the classic stylings. Very busy lunch crowd, it appeared to be mostly business people. We received our lunch fairly quickly and were not rushed out when we finished which is appreciated. Our server was polite, and refilled our drinks without having to ask.
We came with a large group on St.Patrick’s day. We were seated promptly and they were very accommodating. We had Bernice as our server and she was fantastic! Food was served promptly and was delicious, and we never even had to wait for a drink refill as busy as she was. Everything was great!
great st patricks day, servers were pleasant and efficient! corned beef sandwich excellent. and beautiful day outside !
Attended here for a meeting and ordered the Spicy Shrimp Ceasar Salad. The portion size was perfect. It was a little more spicy than I anticipated but otherwise fabulous. Next time if it is still available will get the dressing on the side. I do wish there was an elevator for handicap that need to go upstairs but understand why there isn't.
We held my grandfather's celebration of life in their upstairs area and it was beautiful, they were so helpful, polite, quick service, and made the whole thing go so smooth and easy. We would definitely go there again for other events and would love to try their resturaunt food as well. Their buffet food was amazing!
We recently had a luncheon at Colemans and it could not have been better. The food was excellent and the staff was outstanding. Alexis helped me with the planning and Mary took care of us while we were there. I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had!
True Irish pub - A must visit up on Tipperary hill
Coleman's is a Syracuse institution. I went for lunch while back in my hometown for a visit. If I had not been someone's guest I would have turned around and walked out the minute we walked in the door. In the midst of the Omicron surge and with a NYS mask mandate in place, NOT ONE employee was masked. Many of the bars and restaurants I visit have made use of the downtime during the pandemic to spruce up their spaces, Not Coleman's. it seems that it may just crumble into the Tipperary Hill neighborhood. The bathroom tiles are broken and dirty with old, filthy adhesive stuck to the walls from previous appliances. It took me 3 tries to find a chair that didn't feel that it would collapse out from under me. (I weigh 134) The woodwork is worn and in desperate need of refinishing. The waitress was slow even though I spotted only two other tables with patrons. The food was mediocre at best. Coleman's used to be a regular stop on a trip to Syracuse - no longer.
We love this restaurant. We live 2.5 hours from Syracuse but we go frequently for shopping and visiting friends. We never eat anywhere else. Highly recommend the beef stew and bangers and mash.
