Phone calls, to place order was very informative, courteous and polite. I had heard people share the food was a nice portion and tastes good. I order two side dishes of whiting, only. I received 4 pieces for $20.00. I was disappointed in the fish size portions.The fish was cooked to hard. The crispness of the fishwas not a very good taste, because I'm a cook... I know the grease was old. The fish itself tasted like it had been setting since morning. It wasn't freshly cooked. Perhaps I order on a bad day. This fish wouldnt been able to take a reheating in a microwave.
I got food catered from Chi’Soul Food for my son’s birthday party and I was so satisfied with the service and the food.I had got fried chicken, sticky chicken, mac n cheese, greens, yams, potato salad, and corn bread. It was all sooo good.I would definitely recommend them.

My food fish was made to order. No cold product and I love that they put holes in the top of the container so the fish wouldn't get soggy. Great service and the food was seasoned well. Will definitely be coming back.
The food is amazing! Hands down the best soul food in CNY and worth every penny! The owners are very hands on a personable. They really get to know their customers over time and it feels like family. They are also doing a great job with safety precautions during this pandemic. I would highly recommend this place.
