Poor customer service, the workers do not know nothing about the pre order time ( I went there asked for a design cake they said will take 3-5 days just pick and lets us know the next day when I picked and show them the design they said sorry we are fully booked till next week) so if you need a cake from them maybe you have to order before 2-3 months its feels like a doctor appointment.I expect a bad response from you with this bad customer service you deserves lower than one star also just to keep the customers know about the part that you said I didn’t left any information about the order that I WAS THERE THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU CLOSE AND I TEXT YOU THE NEXT MORNING I DO NOT THINK YOU FULLY BOOKED OVERNIGHT WITHIN 12 HOURS.You have to know how to respond to a customers if you need them to come back to your store if you will be the last bakery in town I will rather to celebrate without a cake than order from you.
Was so excited to finally try cake bar! Absolutely love cake as boba so this place is the perfect post lunch pick me up. My mom and i ordered: taro milk tea, hojicha milk tea, taro cake, red velvet cakeI love pretty much any kind of milk tea but the hojicha was perfect since it had chocolate added and I was in the mood for chocolate today no wonder I also chose red velvet! My moms favorite flavor for milk tea is hands down taro so no wonder she went purple yam all the way. Location is very cute, love the decor, and love that it’s in salt city market. You can go for lunch and make a dessert pit stop before heading out! Have to come back and try the other cakes soon!
Cake Bar is my absolute favorite dessert spot in Syracuse! Their fruit and milk teas are extremely flavorful and their baked goods are all the perfect sweetness with some amazingly unique flavor combinations. Cannot recommend Cake Bar enough. Don’t forget to try their custom cakes for special occasions, they’re as beautifully decorated as they are are delicious!
I have enjoyed all the cakes and tea I’ve ordered here especially the recent holiday eggnog bubble tea. The whole cake bar team is so nice! I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the cakes I’ve eaten because not only are they delicious but they are decorated beautifully.My absolute favorite cake flavor so far was the PB&J cake—incredibly decadent— and I hope they bring it back soon! It perfectly captures the flavors of a PB&J sandwich, which I know might make you think “a sandwich as a cake?” but TRUST me when I tell you that this flavor alone deserves another review lol. Will definitely be going back soon!
I don’t think any words that I write will do this place justice. Yen and the Cake Bar team are always delivering unique flavor combinations through moist cakes, tarts with *the* best crust recipe, creamy milk teas (Hojicha milk tea with oat milk, thank me later), and gorgeous custom cake orders that are as creative as they are delicious. The staff are as warm and welcoming as they are helpful, making for a consistent and wonderful visit every time. My husband just surprised me with a champagne flavored birthday cake with Vietnamese buttercream (think tangy and not too sweet) and it was better than what I used to get growing up in Seattle! What I love is that while everything can be sweet, it’s not overwhelming and overpowering the flavors of the actual treat. Cake Bar even offers pizza cupcakes once in awhile if you’re looking for an adventurous dessert spot! We are there or ordering for pick up online weekly because we never want to miss Cake Bars frequent rotation of fresh and fun drink and dessert offerings. Love Cake Bar! Everything I've had here has been super tasty, especially the s'mores cake. I also love the milk tea. The Hokkaido was particularly tasty. Check out out!
My first time at Cake Bar and had by far the most flavorful taro milk bubble tea I've ever had ? was dying to try the candy cane cheesecake but was too full. Next time I'll have to get dessert first and dinner after!
There isn't anything quite like this place in Syracuse. Everything is so delicious, and so creative. They make beautiful custom cakes, too. The one I got for my mother's birthday was gorgeous, and so tasty! Highly recommended!
My favorites are the Hojicha and the Lotus Cake. Super friendly service and delicious desserts that are not only beautiful but also delectable.
