Out of all the places I have gone with my service dog, the Café Kubal on James St was the most professional , accommodating, and friendly staff when it came to his presence; being a 154 lbs mastiff-pit mix. Other merchants in the area are not as understanding when it comes to large service animals. We thank you for "not making it weird."
Love their coffee and they always have such fun unique flavors.
I have visited many times. All experiences were excellent except the most recent.I was there for a mini date with my wife. In the past we just told the attendant what we wanted and all was good. But now they've added a self service ordering station and insisted we use it. So I tried...The main problem is I didn't expect to need reading glasses for this trip. I didn't have them. The screen was difficult and frustrating to attempt to read. I ended up with a headache that managed to persist until I took a nap. Not cool.The other problem is trying to find what I wanted on the screen when I already knew what I wanted and could have just said it.As a positive, the snack and drink were good. But that isn't enough to get me to return because I don't want to bring and fumble with reading glasses just for a coffee snack.Based on prior visits, this past visit was extraordinarily disappointing.

First time here today and I absolutely LOVED it! I highly recommend to check this place out! I got their iced cinnamon roll latte, dark chocolate cookie,(with no flour and tastes like a brownie) and their UPSTATE GRINDER sandwich. All of it tasted fresh and so good!!! Thank you!!
I go there every morning and it is one of my favorite places. They're oatmeal is amazing, always fresh strawberries and my latte is always good
