Very friendly staff! The subs were just okay nothing crazy. I was disappointed when I asked if they could do hot subs and they responded "we can microwave the meat but we can't out anything on the stove". I was craving a hot sub but went with a tuna sub instead and it was nothing to rave about but it was not terrible. The staff were absolutely awesome and the decor in the inside is pretty cool also.
Great NY style deli. Huge sandwiches and large variety of other foods. We always time our Thruway trips so we can eat there.
Wowza! This is an AMAZING local sub/sandwich shop. They have the best gluten free bread I’ve ever tasted and I loved how reasonable their prices were for gluten free bread. It sucks when places charge a ridiculous amount for bread…I will come again. They have the best tasting pastrami and Reuben meets I’ve ever had
Add this to your list of places to visit. Overflowing sandwiches that are delicious in a unique atmosphere. I applaud their practice of hiring local youth while running a smooth operation.
Fresh sandwiches and subs at this local Syracuse institution which has been around for almost 50 years. Very friendly staff and service at this location with a great expanded seating area with large windows. The sandwiches were MTO and gave us two different types of pickles which were both great. The chicken salad was excellent as was the roast beef sandwich, so I don't think you could go wrong! Definitely will return and pick up a T-shirt for only $9.
The sandwiches here are solid. My only problem is the chili. It tasted soul-less as if it were dumped together with no seasoning or love. It was inedible. I would say tweak that recipe or have someone else make it. Sammy's are nice.
Place has gone way down in quality! They are even charging extra for credit cards! Turkey Sandwich with credit card is now $11.50 and the sandwich was pathetic in size. Never again will I go. Off to Wegmans to get myself a big sub!
What's not to like sandwich shops come and go only the best and Strong Survive I guess that says it for the Brooklyn Pickle why go anywhere else others tried to duplicate like Byrne Dairy but I still end up and West Genesee Street at the pickle
Great food as always. Portions are worth what you pay. The bread they use for the sandwiches is always super fresh and yummy!
OUTSTANDING!! An Authentic Brooklyn Deli with the Best Deli Style Sandwiches. Whenever I'm in the Syracuse Area it's a Must Stop for me. Fantastic Soups, Great Chicken Salad, Perfect Roast Beef. My Personal Favorite the Brooklyn Pickle, pastrami corned beef Swiss with a Russian dressing on rye.. Try it you won't be disappointed
