First, this is the food that I grew up eating, so I know what I am talking about. Food was really good when Zara just opened their location at Hylan blv, reasonable prices and portions. Recently I ordered a pick up for two, with the price tag of $105 which I was ok with until I saw what I actually got. Adana kebab was horrible, dry, no flavor at all, lamb kebab was twice smaller than the usual size/weight. And 1 lamb chop that even my puppy refused to eat. Two things that we actually ate were rice and Turkish bread. It seems that they give up on quality chasing quantity. For me- never again eating Zara.

They started charging Service Fee about 20% and showing additional Tips request on the receipt which can easily adds up to 30% of the price of the already expensive food. This business is getting very expensive which will be the reason, we will avoid to have inside dinner. Worker's are very nice and food is always fresh and tasty.
I was going to take a trip to Brooklyn to eat me some food in a restaurant out there but then I decided to stay here so I wanted to see where can I find some good lamb chops and I punched it on my phone and I went to the place and I'm not sure who's giving the bad comments but whoever it is don't know good food I ordered lamb chops which came with rice and salad and it was amazing I have eaten lamb chops at a more pricey place much much higher in price and you only get two lamb chops and I spent the arm and the leg for it and it wasn't that great but this place the lamb chops was excellent the way the service the weight of the waitress everybody was great I didn't have to wait long to order and it was a lot of people in there but if you expect them to get something in 5 minutes then obviously you need to stay home because no restaurant that cooks food. Should take 5 minutes to cook it it has to be longer so I really really enjoy myself that he only downside to it was that I wish I could have eaten more but I had no room for it because I would have ordered another plate of lamb chops but I'll definitely go back again and the waiter or the service person his name was Val v a l excellent excellent guy they're all friendly the staff is really really good there and you get more than enough food so I highly recommend it and I give it five stars
I really, really wanted to enjoy this place. The atmosphere is quaint and intimate and I was excited prior to going due to the high reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was horrible. We sat down and weren’t greeted for 5 minutes, then ordered a drink and some food and waited 40 minutes for our food. In addition, at no point we’re we checked in on or even had eye contact made with us. It felt like they were purposely avoiding serving us. Then we get our food and the fries are phenomenal and fresh, but the burger was cold as it clearly had been sitting out for some time. My partner ordered a panini that was hard and cold too. I won’t ever being going back and will recommend any acquaintances avoid going there. I wish I could give this place a recommendation but the service was so horrible I can’t imagine going back.
This place is good. The food has space for improvement, especially the seasoning and grilling. For the food I would give a 3.5-4 starts. I gave this 5 stars review just because of the attitude and excellent service of the Chinese girl that stays on the phone at the drawer. She’s like the best, she’s a gem that every restaurant would love to have.
The food was very good and tasty!! My new go to place to tickle my pallet. I recommend trying out this place. Great Customer Service.

I came from the other side of the island to pick up my food! I called to complain and the girl who answers the phone tells me these aren’t burned or overcooked! Apparently these are new type of tenders they sell that get really brown! Who are you kidding I had tendered from here before that are not burned! They don’t want to be responsible when they burn your food or make mistakes! No more Zaras for me!
