Brunch Coffee & Tea

We were sat at a table with no silverware. We place our order which includes two cups of tea. They bring the tea, still no silverware. So I ask for silverware. We're brought two forks and one butter knife. There is no sugar or cream on the table or offered. We ask for some Splenda and are given two packets. The eggs Benedict were average. The grilled cheese was very disappointing. Three types of cheese and still no flavor. Why? Because there was almost no cheese on the sandwich! They could have tripled the amount and it still would not not been enough. Plus the bread was dry. Some butter would have been nice. How this place has a better than 4.5 star rating is hard to understand.

The food here is so simple and well done. Eggs Benedict is exactly how it should be, sauces are great, the French toast is fluffy and needs no syrup, beef roti is flavorful. The menu is just enough choices so that the kitchen can clearly handle doing each dish well, and it shows. Will be returning for sure. The only downside is that the dine-in space is small. But I am willing to wait for a seat for brunch done right.

What might you expect from a tiny cafe in a Staten Island strip mall? Upon recommendation from a little lady, we went for a late breakfast/early lunch. We found ourselves pleasantly surprised at how good the food was... Our teas were excellent Matcha Latte for me, Chai Latte for her. The pancakes were super light and fluffy, as was the egg white omelet. It's small and tight spaced and you might wait 15-20 minutes, but it was worth the short wait.Parking is tough so be patient

Food was great. The hosts/waitresses were very friendly, hospitableThe spacing inside the restaurant is more to be desired, however. It felt a bit TIGHT in there.Overall, a good experience.I'd definitely come back

This little nook in the wall is located on Richmond Road. It has a quaint and calming vibe. The waiting staff was thoughtful and allowed for substitutions with my meals due to my food allergies. The meals themselves were tasty and plentiful. The pancakes were quite fluffy and the fruit in it tasted fresh. My eggs Benedict were well done and the home fries were well seasoned. The chicken sandwiches were well cooked and the sauce on the chicken was delicious. Our iced and hot tea lattes were absolutely tasty.Fair Warning: call ahead to reserve a table because this place gets quite busy especially on weekends.

Love the interior decor and staff is friendly. Wait time was long but I went on a Sunday morning so as expected. If anyone loves strong coffee this is the place! Highly recommend their house salad with the green dressing

The KOVA has a really delicious fried chicken sandwich at a great price and I would highly recommend it if you thinking about stopping by! I haven’t eaten inside before, but the atmosphere and decor in there is very nice as are the staff. However some of their other dishes need improvement such as the spinach and cheese omelette with home fries and beef roti, which are both average at best. They do need more salt and flavor, but the pricing and serving size come at a great value. Although the fried chicken sandwich is delicious that one aspect isn’t enough to elevate the other dishes.

Food was incredibly good and the service was spectacular l. The food took time to come out but the waitress was very considerate and kept us informed, the food was spectacular we had the Beef Roti (highly recommend) , cheeseburger above par and sriracha grilled cheese that my wife loved. Space is intimate but very nice and would recommend for brunch.

Food is good. But latte is a failure. Doesn’t look the same as other review picture. And doesn’t taste good either.

they serve delicious sandwiches and coffee. I ordered their Sriracha jam grilled cheese. and the Creme Brule latte.
