The best Asian food I’ve had in NY. I ordered the lunch special which came with veggie soup, tofu Pad Thai and a drink. The soup was absolutely delicious and it made me want more! You could taste the spice, sour, sweet and savory as you’re supposed to in an Asian dish. It was really really good! Pad Thai was also really good, loved it!I also ordered summer rolls with prawn and fresh veggies. It was really good! Real fresh goodness inside with a peanut sauce to dip in.The restaurant is worth you going to Staten Island and take a stroll in the outlet mall near by.Service was fast and very friendly!

I stopped in for lunch while waiting for jury duty at the courthouse nearby. I enjoyed the summer rolls (with shrimp and peanut hoisin sauce), tom ka soup (with chicken), and Thai iced coffee. Next time I'll check out their lunch specials!

The owners used to have a restaurant by the same name on Hylan Blvd. the food is excellent. You don’t need to leave the island for Thai! Authentic, amazing, fresh food! I had eggplant basil! It was delicious! So happy they are back!!

The food was absolutely exquisite and the service was incredible! Clean establishment and friendly efficient staff as well. They've earned a permanent customer.

Gatta say, having tried almost all the Thai restaurants this mom and pop spot is not what it seems. For some reason this spot is rated 4.8 stars and I just can't see it at all. First off most dishes with a protien are costing around 13-15$ for a single plate while other thai restaurants are costing 8.50-11 on the island, this wouldent be an issue if it tasted amazing but, it doesnt. The pad thai sauce doesn't taste home made at all, taste like it came from a bottle and to top it off the peanuts are grinded down to an ash you don't get the crunch texture that you love from pad thai. Dumplings in citrus infused lime sauce cost 8$ for 4 small dumplings that taste like they're in soy sauce. Absolutely disappointing. Only thing that gave this spot a 2 star rating was the delicious pumpkin curry puffs. Please try other thai restaurants, this one is a dud. Oh and btw -- Indoor dining has tables and chairs, but no plates or utensils. You have to use the take out items just to eat indoors.

Fresh, tasty and quick. Bubble tea was just what I needed to end my day on a sweet note. The pad thai was fresh, tasty and not over priced for the amount. Will be back!

OMGosh !!!! The pad Thai is Super Super Super tasted. FIRE !!!! Authentic!!!! Gonna come back to taste all the menu period

OMG!! We are over the moon to have Talay back on Staten Island!! TheIr food is by far the best Thai food around. We used to frequent their restaurant on Hylan Blvd and have missed great Thai food since they closed.. We had food delivered tonight and the flavor brought back all the reasons we missed them. The food is amazing! We have our favorite restaurant back and it’s close to home!

Easily the best thai restaurant on the island, i might even say nyc! They have great authentic thai food. I had the fried fish (branzino) with mango salsa, tom yum soup, papaya salad, thai iced tea and mango sticky rice. Had to order seconds of papaya salad and tomyum soup for later. 10/10 chefs kiss u guys omg.

Not to shabby. I am a big Thai food fan. Found the Tom Kah coconut soup to be a bit to milky and lemony. But regardless savory and full of tasty broth flavor. I believe the could work this recipe out a bit better. But for $6 tom Kah is worth it. Would definitely come back.
