I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and everyone was very welcoming, including another client! I had the mini vegan shepherd's pie, which was delicious, and a cappuccino that was on point. The coffee place is beautiful and calming for working on your computer or socializing. They also have a store in the back of small business and handmade items. This coffee place is excellent, one of the very few in Staten Island, they are also closed 2 days a week Mondays and Tuesdays.
This experience was awful. The coffee was fine, but the owner was rude to her staff, rude to customers. It seemed like every black and brown person who came was visibly uncomfortable in her presence. Avoid at all costs, especially if you are a person of color.
This is the only espresso bar in staten island that bothered to try out and choose a great espresso bean for their creations!!! It makes a world of difference. The owner is super sweet and gets to know her customers. The batistas always know their stuff and can make recommendations. The muffins the owner bakes on site are phenomenal!!! And then there is the back. The maker portion. The owner can tell you about every single group she works and sources her products from. It's all mom and pop or goes to a great cause. The price ranges can be high but so is the quality and you can tell right away. Go experience this place. I recommend a lavender mocha cappuccino (w/o lavender seeds) just syrup and it's not on the menu but worth trying!!?
Been looking for a “go to” coffee shop in SI, mostly to no avail. Once I found this place though it was an instant favorite. Great staff, even better coffee. The pies and pastries are great too!
What’s not to love? This place is exactly the type of small business every community needs. Fantastic coffee, friendly owners, and a market filled with socially responsible and unique gifts. The desserts are amazing and the place is always clean and welcoming. Central Perk wishes it was this cool!
Is okay to check out this cool setup cafe. It is little bit overpriced. Drinks are acceptable if you don't like sweet. Would prefer Starbucks though.
Coffee = delicious. Service = utterly disinvested.Food: I got a latte (awesome) and zucchini bread (dry); my partner got a sesame latte (he loved it) and pumpkin bread (“pretty good”).Service: There was no food menu, the staff was neither inviting nor particularly helpful. They make good coffee, but otherwise don’t seem to care if the business completely fails. A cute shop in the back, but I felt to unwelcome to even look around.
I was a Zombie after a tough week called in for a cup and the Barista was amazing she helped me pick a strong cup of coffee and I told her to surprise me with flavor and sweet level and she did an AMAZING job! Great start to a rough day! Absolutely loved it! I didn’t get her name but I love you!!!! Thank you!!!
Great lattes / pleasant service
Coffee is made from scratch. The muffins are delicious. The prices is within reason for a small cafe
