I ordered the Charishi. While the presentation was amazing, as you can see, the egg was frozen and the sashimi on top lacked flavor. They also neglected to bring me the Wasabi and Ginger and I had to ask for it. I personally dislike soy sauce and at first I kept it to the side and had to actually ue it to make it palatable. The one redeeming quality was the rice that came with the dish. I will not be returning.
OMG, this place is something. Service was great, the food... I am a sushi lover and have no idea why I didn't try this place before. Said it was amazing it said nothing lol It's My number one place to go for sushi on the Island now
What a delicious hidden gem! Absolutely amazing sushi and such beautiful decorations. One of the best sushi spots in Staten Island. If you are craving sushi this is a must go! Everything was so fresh and authentic. Also they do have an area where you can sit on the floor but I would advise against it. It's cute at first but gets very uncomfortable quick
Phenomenal!! A must go. They even have authentic Japanese seating which is absolutely amazing.
Yesterday my cousin and I visited this place for the first time and I must say we were very impressed by the decor, service and delicious food. Simson was our waiter who was so attentive, friendly and quick with the service. All of the appetizers and entrees was so fresh and tasty. For apps we had the shumai and gyoza ? pork dumplings. For entree we had crunchy tuna and crab rolls, a volcano roll, shrimp tail roll, seafood fried rice and general Tso chicken. The interior of the restaurant was a cultural Japanese ambience from the furniture, art, and seating style. We will definitely be visiting this place again. The food and service is excellent.
This is the best Japanese restaurant on SI. Its a gem. The food is magnificent, the staff is so kind, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Though they could use a better playlist haha. I recommend the Jae-gae-bok-eum and the korean soup if you wanna try something other than sushi and chicken

this place never disappoints! and its a fun feeling when the delivery driver and the waiter recognizes you already, its a warm welcome feeling.
I used to be a frequent customer of this restaurant when it was known as Osaka. No idea what happened but it is definitely not the same restaurant. Quality of food dropped dramatically as well as service and cleanliness of the restaurant. I would think that would be their highest priority especially in these times. Extremely unsatisfied.
I’ve been going here since July 2020 and I love it cause it’s small and friendly very quiet the employees are nice this is my go to restaurant when I wanna clear my mind the food is amazing I don’t eat sushi so I always get the grilled chicken with mixed vegetables it’s my favorite I love this place 10/10 recommended.
