Food salty and bland . Waited 20 minutes to be seated when tables were available.paid $50 for small dishes eggplant white rice fried calamari brown rice appetizer fried dumplings frozen types and two drinks. Waiter funny but that does not add up to price and wait. Would not go again
We hosted a luncheon for 40 people. The planning with John was a breeze, we were easily accommodated when guests showed up later in the party, the food was delicious and service was OUTSTANDING.This was a very affordable and nice way to gather a bigger group of people together.I can not recommend Oriental Plaza enough.
Went to this place with my wife and daughter for dinner, we were sat down and forgotten for at least 10 minutes, finally a waiter comes over to take our drinks order...he was pretty unfriendly to us, don't know why...he's never met us before but he was extremely chatty with what I can tell we're regulars, that's fine. The drinks were good, finally we get our order in, it took awhile...place was getting busy...our order was brought over and it was pretty good as well. I give three stars because of the borderline rudness, not sure I'll go back, but if it had gone better I'd definitely become a regular to this place.
Best Chinese food on the Island. The restaurant is clean, offers good service, and get's your food out quickly. The food is of good quality and you never have to spit out a piece of chicken because its too dry and stringy or contains a large piece of cartilage. If you like soup definitely try the Wonton, very fresh and tasty. The prices are fairly reasonable for what you get. My only complaint is that they charge for every refill of a fountain soda, so maybe just drink water.
Food came fast and was hot. Ordered the chicken lo mein and pork fried rice. Lo mien was great chicken was terrible. Bland pork with bland rice was not enjoyable.
Only got to eat the hit and sour soup. It was good! Staff seemed nice but wasn't there long.

Ahh! Mediocre at best. Went Christmas day and very disappointed. The fried rice was cooked incomplete, the egg foo young was also runny and undercooked. The ribs were the only saving grace but for $13 ribs it should have been a larger portion. Maybe it was because they were very busy, which really shouldn't make much difference, if your a good restaurant. Sorry John, but I thought you were better.
Home delivery is always as promised. The lobster Cantonese arrived at the perfect temperature to serve and the food is always well prepared and delicious. Thank you John and Simon for your courtesy and stellar service.
Outstanding Asian American fusion cuisine! The lobster with garlic and ginger and scallions was succulent, tender and delicious! The pork spareribs were lean and meaty, and their egg rolls were delicious. I love Oriental PlazaBEST Chinese food in the area. Looking forward to returning!!!
