Met a friend for lunch today and we went to Mimmo’s. My friend ordered a margherita pie and I a regular pie from the lunch specials. They were yummy. We lived 5 minutes from the location when the previous restaurant was there. Will definitely recommend your place!!!
I need to give a big shout out and a Thank you to Ralph Ameno and the entire staff Mimmo's Brick Oven Pizza & Trattoria the food was incredible and the service was excellent beautiful and comfortable atmosphere thank you for making my son’s surprise 21st birthday party a success definitely recommend Mimmo’s for your next party or just to have a nice dinner!!

I'm amending my previous 5 star review to 1 star. And yes the food is still very good, the service and take out are horrendous! You know what, there's way too many good pizzerias in this neighborhood to put up with this kind of service. I'm mean really, they're not doing me a FAVOR selling me a pizza! Save yourself some aggravation and go somewhere they actually VALUE their customers!
Had my engagement party here!! Absolutely amazing service & food! The owner Domenico is the nicest and most accommodating guy ever. His staff is amazing & everything was perfect. 10/10 would recommend this place.
I love pizza! I lived on the island for 20+ years and moved away. I came back to visit recently. I found that Mimmo’s was on a top 5 pizza list so was very to eager to try. I ordered a regular cheese pie. It was pretty good but I had better pizza from other places. To me, the bread is very important - this pie was too tough, like it was stale. Had good amount of cheese and sauce (bit on the salty side for me though). While waiting for my order at the restaurant, I noticed they make Nutella stuffed zeppole! Had to order! Though it was freshly made, they were not stuffed. I am used to zeppole shaped as knots but these were just folded up lol. So if the menu says “stuffed”, shouldn’t you get “stuffed”? Lastly, everywhere it says $14.70 for a regular cheese pie but he charged me $16. I ordered over the phone and I paid cash too. Odd.
BEWARE! My fiance & I thought we would go on a week nite. We ordered 2 simple things. Were told this is not 2 for 1 when we got the check. No where does it say what we had to order. Ron is 66 I too ama senior. We are retired & live on S.S. I would never go again! THEY WOULD NOT HONOR 2 FOR ONE! THEY DONT DESERVE 1 STAR!
I have been on Staten Island for 17 years and visited a lot of pizza spots. This is Hands Down the best SI pizza and as a Brooklyn native I can say they will give BK restaurants serious competition. The food is made with love and lots of flavor and the customer service is spot on. Recommend the MVP pizza. You can't have just one slice!
First off the pizza was excellent!!! The young man with a gray SUV Who delivered the pizza was extremely nice. My dog ran out of the house when I opened the door he was nice enough to chase him down the block and give him back to me definitely recommend this place!
