Didn't care for the food. The service was lacking considering there were only 3 other people in the diner.We love Mike's diner but this was the first time we went to the Dakota and we won't go back.
I have breakfast here every Wednesday and it’s fantastic. The wait staff are super friendly and my coffee cup is never empty. They have 3 huge rooms for events separate from the diner itself just incase you want to hold any type of event. They accommodated any changes to the menu you make. Parking is easy they have their own lot.go enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Got a hair in my omelet and the manager did not seem to be so concerned about it. The most disgusting thing is that they made it the 1st time and had the hair and then the second time and the hair was still in it. Never coming here again.
The portions are enough for 3 meals . Very attentive staff and friendly atmosphere.Prices we're moderate and worth the money

i AM A FREQUENT CUSTOMER . ON EVERY ORDER THERE IS SOMETHING MISSING. MANY TIMES I LET GO OF THE COMPLAIN. BUT TODAY I JUST COULDN'T PASS IT. I ORDER A GREEK SALAD SPECIFICALLY REQUESTING OIL AND VINEGAR DRESSING ONLY TO GET ZATZIKI WHICH IS A GREEK WHITE SAUCE FOR SHISHKABOBS . WHAT DOES ONE HAVE TO DO WITH THE OTHER. I REQUEST TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER BUT CONVINIENTALLY THE MANAGER WAS MISSING IN ACTION......
Clean and the food was served swiftly and well prepared. I highly recommend the matzo ball soup.

Food was incredibly delicious they especially came thru big time I'm not sure why this whole town is so stingy and selfish but this diner def made me feel appreciated and delivered a great meal on top of it I wouldnt ever recommend spending ur hard earned money at these garbage businesses in Staten island but THiS diner I highly recommend u make an exception for u will not regret it
I've been coming here for years I love the staff you always treat you nice the food is so much better than regular diner food I didn't know what to get just wanted some quick I got a grilled cheese with bacon I had low expectations because I know a lot of restaurants use the bacon from the morning and they reheat it they cooked new bacon for me I did not ask for it they did it my little baby was running around the restaurant having fun cuz there was nobody in there and the staff was looking out for her it was great had so much fun there I really thank them a lot I always loved this place I recommend them breakfast lunch and dinner good people
