Staff and food were wonderful!!!

Ever since this lock down i was force to work from home when i heard about bitcoin trade since then

I visited this place with my friends from New York, it's "outside city" which make it easier for us to keep our road trip to Six Flags and eat very delicious food and having a super good service from their staff member, I think that they serve big proportions of food and it's something very important to mention if you eat a lot like my friends lol

Had breakfast with my mother in law for her birthday ?. I absolutely love ❤️ this diner so clean great staff. Yummy breakfast ?????

Coworkers and I stopped in after working night shift.. Omelette was good, French toast could’ve been a lot better, it tasted a little weird honestly but good wait staff and very nice looking setting. Waffles were very soft like buttery!

In my opinion, the best diner on Staten Island. Owners are great people and the wait staff is very attentive. Portions are big and price is not bad. We have been going here for many years. Almost every Friday night. Highly recommend

This is my favorite place for the midnight. If you hungry in middle of night only please I’m going to is this place. I like the foods here. They giving us a good service and good hospitality. Place is very clean. Fast service. Prices are reasonable. Thank you guys keep it up.

Overall a pleasant experience at Mike's Unicorn Diner. The waitress was very kind and nice, however, they weren't wearing a mask but it was 3 am so it's alright. They also did not check for our vaccination status. Most of the food was delicious, by the end, we were stuffed. The hot chocolate was decent, but I was displeased that a small mug of it was around $3-$4. The curly fries and fried pickles were the highlight of the meal. The bacon wasn't too crispy, and the omelette was alright. I asked for a spinach mushroom and tomato omelet, but they unfortunately left out the tomato. The oreo cheesecake was delicious though. The coke float was also pretty good.

Food was passable but the portions absolutely huge and prices ridiculous inflated. Can't afford to go there again

This diner is usually fantastic, but recently there's been a staffing change and the waitress we had was beyond awful.1. She dropped a mozzarella stick as she was about to serve us the dish, clearly noticed it, shrugged her shoulders and handed us the plate anyway. No apologies, no asking the kitchen to make more, no taking it off the check... Nothing. That was 1/6th of the appetizer. I couldn't believe it. Who does that??2. She took an order for a burger and did not ask how it should be done and ran off into the kitchen. Brought back a medium-rare burger. My buddy was not happy.3. Handed another person from my table her omelette with home fries on the side. Friend did not know it came with home fries and explained that she was allergic to the bell peppers in it. Waitress takes the plate while angrily muttering "well it said it on the menu, you should have read the menu" and comes back with it clearly having scrapped the home fries off, there were still remnants of it on the plate.Upon seeing this, of course my friend was very upset and asked to speak to a manager. As the waitress witnessed the manager coming over to us, she promptly runs over to speak over my friend and barks at the manager that she told the kitchen to make a new one. She obviously didn't.4. She "upgraded" a meal without asking, added eggs to an order when the my friend specifically said no eggs. It was a $5 upcharge from what he ordered.5. When we went up to the front to explain to the manager what's been happening with our meal, the manager tells us that he's not the regular manager and dismissively turns his back to us while we spoke to him. This is by far the worst experience we've ever had in this diner and it's a real shame because we love this place. I don't know what's going on, maybe it was not a good day for them, but the lack of interest in retaining customers was loud and clear. Maybe because this is not the regular manager, he really doesn't care how the business does. I've come to this diner maybe 20 times in the past year and ever since this experience, I'm not sure if I want to go back.
