Amazing little hole in the wall restaurant!! Very home type feeling. Food was excellent! We had shrimp chicken and steak tacos, and started off with guacamole and chips! Ended with an excellent dessert! Service is great. Food is great!
Mezcal provides great Mexican food and welcomes everyone with authentic and familial hospitality… great local place. The only challenge is the parking…
One downside was the parking...food was good. A nice pit stop on the way back to Brooklyn. Took a little while to get our food..only one person serving at the time.
Never , EVER a bad meal here. And the service is second to none. I have my faves- Bistek Barracho(steak, peas, chorizo in a cream sauce), Chapala(shrimp, scallops, peas, rice, etc.), and Chicken Asadero. Their white peach sangria- awesome. The Super Nachos aren't just a pile of empty chips- every bite is perfect. If you want authentic Mexican food and drink on Staten Island, there is no other.
Amazing food! Best restaurant i've ever eaten at. Great service and the inside is beautiful. I definitely recommend!

I don’t know what these positive reviews are on about. The food was under seasoned and basically felt like whoever cooked it did not care how anything tasted. Cocktails tasted weird, all chemicals. Slow service, which was totally mystifying - waiting for what, exactly? Cute atmosphere, servers fine - not their fault the food and drinks were so terrible.
Mezcal's is truly a treasure of a Mexican restaurant on Staten Island. You will truly get some great food here and the menu is so diverse. And it's all situated in a relatively small dining room, packed with lovely colors and decor.
