Great Service and staff- hosted my daughter's graduation party and it was great!!! from the start to finish- Gary the Sales manager was very professional and attentive- everything we discussed for the menu and the set up was done to perfection. Also the Candy the MaîtreD was very helpful and made sure the room looked amazing. Food was delicious and the space looked amazing. Def recommend :_)
Full disclosure, as an orthodox jew, I didn't eat the food prepared by them. I was at a special event that rented out the hall. So, I can't comment on the food.Hall is very nice. Kept looking very appealing.Service was excellent. I didn't eat anything but they had kosher food for those who wanted. Made sure everyone had whatever they wanted.People who ate the food said it was delicious.
The St. George Theatre is so thankful to The Staaten for being a restaurant sponsor at our May 7, 2022 gala. Gary, Jack and staff are always wonderful to work with and have been supporting our mission for years. The food was presented beautifully and of course DELICIOUS. No wonder they're one of our favorite SI restaurants & banquet halls!!! And did I mention they make the best fried zucchini and crab cakes? Always consistent and perfect! Thank you ~ Thank you ~ Thank you ~ not only for having a great place and great staff but for being so community minded. We are so grateful for all you do. I had my daughter’s bridal shower at the Staaten and I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had there. Everyone was friendly and answered all of my questions leading up to the big day. They even let us bring all of our decorations the night before the party and store it in one of there closets so we didn’t have bring everything the day of. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was bright and cheery, and the food was delicious. An overall awesome experience!!
Outstanding experience from the moment I opened the door! I was here to teach continuing education courses. The staff members were exceptional and went out of their ways to make sure all technology was working (not a small feat with such a wide range of devices used by our team), everyone had food and beverages, the space stayed clean, and more. BUT they all did it with smiles and genuine interest in giving guests a memorable experience.AND the food was better than anything I’ve ever had at a conference! The salmon was so tender and flavorful that I will probably never be satisfied with what we cook at home. The baked goods were only lightly sweet, allowing the flavors to be fully enjoyed. No covering up cheap ingredients with extra sugar here! Every ingredient was carefully selected, and it showed!I could go on and on, but I won’t. Just go. You won’t be disappointed. Even the pasta and green beans were brag-worthy.

Staff and management are both equally very friendly and accommodating. Food is good. After the renovation the banquet halls look very grand
