Wow, honestly I been to a few spots like this and love this one so far. The food is on point [definitely grab an order of tacos for sure!!]. The staff here is beyond nice fun and accommodating I couldn't ask for more. This place is a must go to [not order from] for the full experience.The drinks are great too. I would recommend this place to go to for a date, family get together and even solo visit. You never feel alone here!
This Restaurant is the real meaning of an authentic Mexican food. We went on Sunday night for dinner for two people. When you enter the place you feel the touch from the decorations. We were seated and a menu was given to us. The waiter and staff are very polite and professional. The food were served 10 minutes sharp after we ordered. So here you will not wait long if you are hungry or in a rush. We ordered iguana tacos which were the best tacos i have ever had in my life for affordable price and fajita mix (beef, chicken and shrimps). The presentation is very good and the taste are perfect. Fresh ingredients is the key for the taste I believe. It was hot and full filing. The prices are little bit high for the fajita plate $28, but why to blame them with this high inflation and trying to make a profit. I would totally recommend this local business who is owned by a family who is working hard to give the best fot Staten island and to make a living. If you are near by Staten island or you are a resident you should consider trying this amazing place. And you will not regret it.give it a try
One of my favorite places to eat on the island. The food is inexpensive, authentic, very filling (for example the massive tortas with about 10 wonderful toppings in it), and better than most other places you'll find. This is one of my go to safe spots that I can bring anyone and know the food will be good.
Decided to try this place on a whim, food was good, they brought out a basket of what tasted like fresh made corn tortilla chips with this creamy avacado type salsa, so good, then we ordered the chicken burrito & chicken tacos, good flavor, fair price point, the waiter was very friendly.
Nice experience and atmosphere. Decent prices and good food. I would eat there again.
My second time dining and again had the Chorizo sandwich is awesome. Next time I have to try their burgers.
Where to begin??Ordered a beer, never came. Drinks made it to everyone on my table but me. When I asked, the kid said “oh, we don’t have it”, he never bothered to tell me until I asked. They never come around and ask if you need more drinks or water or whatever. I asked specifically about their salad and what it comes with, the choices were salad with chicken, Tilapia or Tuna, so I thought tuna steak snd asked again and the kid said yes it is salad with tuna on top. What do I get for my dinner? Tuna salad that you get from the bagel shop with some chips. I could have made that at home with 89 cents can of tuna snd some mayonnaise. Service sucks and food below average.

La Iguana Azul is definitely a place you want to come dine in. The dining room is nicely themed and there wait staff was very attentive and warm. I found the food to be top notch and their drinks were working exceptional. My only criticism would be that the menu is a little confusing and could use a makeover.
Ordered three steak burritos for a delivery. I asked for no beans. What I received consisted of meat, rice and sour cream on the side. That was it. Really??? I spent close to $50 and they couldn't put anything, like lettuce, cheese, salsa...Nothing.
