First time here the food and service was good. I ordered the 28oz ribeye my wife had the ribs. They charge by the pound and if you want a side you need to add it for a price. Ordered the ? watermelon sangria ? it was also good. You only get one side with the steak wish they included two. All sides are separate to order and pricey. Wanted the waffle fries they did not have them however, ordered the sweet potato casserole with my steak it was awesome and very filling. Cool place to go!
We found juicy Lucy on a recommendation from a friend, and it definitely went beyond my expectations. The food was delicious, everything was seasoned and prepared well and the presentation was exceptional) see the pictures)In addition to the barbecue, the fried chicken was outstanding!I would be remiss if I did not mention that the bartenders did an exceptional job mixing the drinks, and the wait staff was friendly bubbly and full of suggestions. There was a toddler in our party and they also went out of their way to accommodate his needs for crayons and more attention!I guess that the south of New York can compare to the south itself when it comes to barbecue - this is as good as anything I've had south of the Mason-Dixon line.
Great BBQ spot on the island. Recommend the spicy chicken sandwich and sweet potato mash!
We visited midweek, great music. Not too many customers but nice environment. Food was good brisket sandwich wit salad. Drinks good as well. The server was ? awesome, very attentive to our request, courteous, good sense of humor...we'll go again ? ?
Just the best food. Go. Thank me later.
Did not know what to expect at first, but I was pleasantly surprised by the seasoning and well prepared meats. My friends and I ordered the Family Cookout meal which serves 4 and includes brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, sliced turkey and beef links. My absolute favorite were the pork ribs and brisket, the meat was tender and practically melted in your mouth. The meal also came with a choice of 4 sides. We ordered the mac and cheese, corn bread, bacon baked beans with brisket, and waffle fries. The fries were perfectly cooked and the mac and cheese was tasty. The corn bread was perfectly cooked as well, I've had corn bread and often times it's dry but this one was well done. For those who enjoy a drink to accompany their meal, this place definitely has a variety of drinks and sizes for all. For those who enjoy dessert, they have a wonderful selection to choose from. I went with the churros and ice cream with cinnamon sugar dust, it was quite delicious. To add, the waitress was very attentive and made enjoyable conversation.
Getting Figgy with it martini at the bar while I waited for my good. Ordered a “Juicy Lucy” with a skirt at the suggestion of the waitress/bartender. Was really a phenomenal burger and maybe the best thing I ate here. Ordered half pound of both briskets - Pastrami style & Texas style. Also got the brisket poutine. All the food was good and delicious. Service was a little spotty although the staff were very nice if inattentive. Bathrooms had no soap. Hand sanitizer empty. Weird place Bc staff was so lackadaisical but good food regardless.
Wow. We were coming back from the city during a cold snow storm and stopped in. The whole crew that was working was so inviting, warm and hospitable. Really 5 star service. Darren our waiter was awesome- the food is amazing. We will def be back!!! Stay warm.
Should've taken pictures before but it's soo delicious I've gotten carried away lol. No lie best BBQ in NYC so far take that from a local foodie. Order the Mac platter thank me later
Best BBQ on Staten Island for sure! Richie does an incredible job at preparing the various meats he serves. So far everything I've had on the menu is delicious. Even if you're not much of a fan of BBQ, their sides and appetizers are just as good and the milkshakes, which are loaded with toppings, are insane. Highly recommend!
