First visit there everything was good.. I believe the owner made my sandwich. This time, someone else behind the counter made me my roast beef with motz, lettuce tom and mayo. I got literally one slice of everything..and it was cold! Asked for extra Tom and mayo..didnt know I had to ask for a decent amount of meat, not that it would even made a difference honestly. Thinnest most underwhelming, dry, plain hero I've ever had. I suggest you give them your order ONE at a time and watch them make it. I was so disappointed and it's pretty expensive for them to be that stingy on the entire hero!
Their hot and cold sandwiches are good, and so are the loaded fries with gravy, but the rice balls are the best thing on the menu.
Roast beef sandwich is a must. Do yourself a favor and get a large extra gravy.That gravy tho for real?

The sandwich is good but don't make me and someone else wait 5 mins to order and then when your friend walks up to the counter you just let him order..I told the guy me and the man behind me have been waiting he didn't care.honestly Royal Crown,Ronnie's, that bar on bay st have just as good a sandwich...I won't go back
We all know John’s Deli has the best roast beef sandwiches in NYC. Yes that’s right, in NYC! I dare you to find me a better one. But, I wanna give a quick shout out to their Chicken Parm hero. They have a lot of great food there that doesn’t get as much shine because of the famous roast beef sandwiches. Solid place, and I love the new Hylan Blvd location

They've moved from New Dorp Lane to a new location on Hylan boulevard. Still tasted like the same, delicious roast beef and cheese with onions. Magnifico.
