We had our sisters bridal shower at Jimmy Max today and all I can say is WOW, it was perfect. The new party room is beautiful. The food was delicious!!! The sangria, mimosa's and drinks were so good. The staff was so friendly, helpful and attentive. Erin and Isabel went out of their way to make our sisters day so special, as did the rest of the staff. I highly recommend having your party or gathering there or just go for dinner and drinks, you will not be disappointed .
I've been to this place before with a lifestyles class. For the First time I've learned how to make pizza here and for the second time i was with another group of people from a different location there. Also it was someone's birthday today.??? The Place looked like it hasn't changed since I've been there but I don't mind. It had a good dining area but I still don't know if they deliver. They do have a website but I don't know if it works. I might have to look this place up and see if they do delivery on their website if they do maybe I might come back to this place with some other group or call or order online. The food was delicious and their entrees were good. ? ?
I can only speak to the food and the service. May 30th 2022. I was driving back from JFK and had to pass through my old stomping grounds Staten Island. I was hungry I almost stopped off of the Belt parkway at a spot but I held on for a little bit longer.Guys, this pizza tastes amazing. The crust the sauce the cheese the toppings everything was balanced perfectly ( for me*). The crust had the right amount of salt the right amount of sauce was on the dough the right amount of cheese was on the sauce and it wasn't overlaiding with ingredients. The basil was fresh. 5 stars...Jersey pizza does not compare to Staten Island Pizza much less New York. Anyways!The service at Jimmy Max was wonderful. I asked for square cut and I got square cut who knows maybe that's the norm but my request was Matt with a smile and accuracy. I like square cut when I'm eating and driving at the same time.I'll definitely stop there again and probably bring my wife because she deserves the finer things in life as well.
Great place to watch the Ranger Victory. We had the MBO pie and the White pie. I had the Hot antipasti. The red sangria was excellent too. Giant TV screens in each room. Great hard work staff.
Just dropped in, they were completely booked, but recommended the bar seating area. I don't normally like bar stools. But we gave it a try. I won the Urban Fairies of Staten Island Raffle for Jimmy Max one free meal per months for a year.Never been prior to today. Jessica at the bar and the other lady bartender handled a busy crow with expertise & experience, made everyone feel welcome. We enjoyed some drinks and had great food! Thank you all! We'll be back!
The St. George Theatre is so thankful to Jimmy Max's for being a restaurant sponsor at our May 7, 2022 gala. Jimmy & staff were wonderful to work with . The food was presented beautifully and of course DELICIOUS. He is so giving and generous. No wonder they're one of our favorite SI restaurants! And did I mention they make the best pizza? Thank you ~ Thank you ~ Thank you ~ not only for having such a great restaurant and great staff but for being so community minded. We are so grateful for all you do. You make SI a better place and we are proud to call you a true friend. xoxoxox
Anyone will Celiac's needs to check out Gluten Free Tuesdays! Such a great community supporting spot too, been to so many fundraisers here where they give back to local groups.
I gotta tell youse folks that Marge and I were very, very disappointed tonight at one of our favorite pizza places. Tonight, we ordered a pizza and checked with our server three times within an hour to find out when it would be served, each time he told us the pizza was in, however, it was taking extra time cause they were backed up.After seeing some folks who walked in after us get their pizza, we asked a different server to check on our pizza, we were ensured that the pizza was on it’s way. Ten minutes later we checked again and our server told us the pizza was not ordered. At this point we decided to call it a night despite assurances that our pizza was in the oven and would be out shortly.While we appreciate the apology from management (who we had to call over) for not charging us for our drinks and eggplant parm hero, the bad taste in our mouths from the dishonesty from the staff could not be quelled. We certainly are upset about tonight cause Jimmy Maxx is a go to place for us and sadly that is no longer the case.
Great pizza and drinks. Matt behind the bar was fantastic. Best service in all of New York City !
