I used to come here as a child and the decor and atmosphere have not changed at all! Neither have some of the staff LOL. My daughter who is now going to be 30 still calls the tiki Oliver! It brings back great memories of abundant family style food that is hot and delicious! Will be a lifetime patron of this gem of a restaurant! Never change!
The food is amazing.Brings back memories when I ,was a child and visit the Chinese restaurants in NYC , canal st.That's when they had old school chefs who really new how to cook a delicious Chinese food meal.
The staff was very pleasant but the prices are a little much for the quality of food. Definitely not worth what you pay.
Massive portions, but its quantity over quality. The sweet and sour chicken wasn't very good, but the fried rice and general's chicken were. Depends on what you get whether or not its worth it. Cool presentation on the platter though!
Bad experience! This is second time I ordered their food.I don't know what was that (black) but definitely not parts of fried rice

5 stars for Jade Island as the service and food are both very good. It's been there for decades for a good reason. Don't miss the egg drop wonton 'mix' soup.
first time ordering here, ordered eggrolls- NO SAYING IT WAS MADE WITH SHRIMP! thank god my 10yr old took the first bite and told me because im highly allergic to shellfish— when i called the restaurant to ask why its not specified i was told THEY CANT WRITE DESCRIPTIONS FOR EVERYTHING AND I SHOULDVE KNOWN! please be aware they don’t specify and they dont care either way!
