This place is a must! Between the food and the staff, it doesn’t get any better. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s definitely one of our favorite places to go — very welcoming energy and a happy place to be (and eat)It’s not a typical ‘diner’ - you’d find a place like this in the country somewhere and that’s what I love about this charming place!We love Jen (Waitress) and Carmelo (Helper). We like to go on their day on! Everything here is always fresh and great portion too. Thank you, George and Coffee Shop crew!
Waste of 12$… I ordered 2 egg over easy & toast so I can make a sandwich. Pretty hard to mess that up right? Nah, they cut the bread in half… now how the hell am I gonna make a Sandwich?They Also charged me 3$ for an extra slice of toast to make a second sandwich, which they also cut in half and ruined on me :(You can buy a whole loaf of bread for 3$ man…. Come on.
It seems like a beautiful spot but I cannot give it five stars. The waitress was amazing but on the other hand the food was okay. Today I paid $15 for a wrap which is shown in the pictures turkey bacon, egg and cheese a little expensive if you ask me for a breakfast wrap. By the way they got my order wrong twice!
The food and service is goodWas a bit annoyed with the fact that they don't take cards. I would of had no problem with that if there was a clear sign that indicated this. So I was forced to use the ATM which cost $3 plus whatever your bank charges.
Potato salad was great and very affordable. My girlfriend didn't like how dry the chicken was. The deco was uber retro very nice!!!
I don’t know what I would do without George and his staff. Anyone who says they are rude and they waited 45 minutes for food, obviously has never been to a local establishment where everything is cooked to order. It’s not McDonald’s. I literally eat here between 4 and 6 times a week. Sometimes alone, sometimes with my family. I know everyone by name and they know mine. They even sit and have conversations with me if it’s not busy! This place is a true gem, which is why you might wait to sit on a weekend or at dinner time. There is nowhere better. Just the atmosphere makes me not want to leave every time I’m there. And again, George, the owner, and his staff are the most dedicated, friendly, and loyal people around!

We wanted to try this place because of good word-of-mouth from relatives. Perhaps we came on an off day. Service was haphazard. Food was just satisfactory.
Staten Island staple! One of the best breakfasts around town. Whats also nice are the staff that work there. We eat here at least once a month for breakfast. Food is always delicious. Service with a smile and friendly conversation. There are always a few regulars that at the counter for some jokes and good laughs. If there was a way to leave more stars i would.
