Food is bland, guy cooking the food seems like he doesn't want to be there, will ignore you waiting til he's done cleaning his station. Prices are absolutely ridiculous, $10 for what used to be $5 plate of food. I get it, inflation and stuff, but not even carts in Manhattan or Brooklyn with MUCH better halal food are up to $10 yet. Absolutely avoid unless everything else is unavailable. You want actual quality halal food for your money? Go to Brooklyn. 1 star because the portion is okay, and is convenient, otherwise it's a 0/5 for me.
Best halal food on the island. I've been going here for years. Always nice guys and good portions. My go to is the chicken and lamb over rice with salad and a side of falafel with white sauce and bbq sauce. The white sauce is awesome!
The worst people worst attitude towards consumers chicken was on the grill was bad because not busy time eat their before was ok but this time please be very careful the server was the rude and un healthy condition never go back again please be careful while eating
Good but they keep raising prices. 10$ for a platter when it's 6 or 7 other places
TEN DOLLARS??!!! New York City anywhere else sells the same platter for five dollars!!! Avoid this rip off cart and take your stomachs elsewhere. The cart owner has been expeditiously increasing these prices with zero shame. Don't support this thief.
My son loves this place. It's clean and there's always a line.
I was actually stuck in traffic next to him for 20 mins. While I was there I noticed a steady flow of customers so I would assume he has good food
This place is such a good place to have authentic egyptian and middle eastern food in Staten island. It is located at Richmond Avenue with Arthur kill, the smell is always attractive and a key that makes you want to buy, big portion and a lot of chicken and lamb on the mix plate. Very clean place and Amin is the best to prepare and serve the food. His generous exceeds your expectations. You can have food here for lunch and dinner and they are open up till 3:00 a.m. in the morning. I had the mix and it was delicious and amazing.. it is must with their special white sauce and don't forget to try the Falafel. One of the best Falafel in USA not only NY and i have tried a lot of places. If you pass by Staten Island and like this kind of food and your love big portions then this is your next spot for sure. Give it a try and you will not regret!!!
This is THE Halal food to go to in Manhattan. I'm glad they have expanded beyond the carts in Midtown. However you can get equally great food from the cart or the restaurant locations. The hot sauce is a spicy red paste that brings the heat to any meal.
Delicious...Halal Food that i have enjoyed, good price and plentifulYummy yourself some...
