Very nice place to go as family outing or birthdays or any small celebration. The food , service and the atmosphere was very nice. The staff were friendly too. I would recommend this place to all.

I ordered takeout and was impressed by how much food was in the bag. My small chicken kebab (5 large chunks of chicken) came with the most delicious rice, and some side vegetables and some bread. I couldn't even finish all the food. I don't know if and when I'll have opportunity to pass through Staten Island again, which is a shame, because I would would order the chicken kebab again.

We had to wait while our lunch was prepared, fresh to order, and the wait was worth it!I enjoyed the veggie kebab- amazing mushrooms and eggplant.

I have to say unfortunately Staten Island has terrible food options! However, I’ve been coming to this place since they opened and have never been disappointed at all. This place is definitely in the Top 10 in the whole of Staten Island. Everything is always fresh & delicious! I can’t get enough of it!

Started with the taboule salad and it was very good. They brought over a whole pide bread which was fresh and delicious. We ordered the Chicken Adana and Lamb Shish Kebab. Both the chicken and lamb were perfectly seasoned and had great grill flavor. The service was efficient and friendly. The place is spacious, clean and contemporary. We would definitely come back again and again.

We have been coming to grand sahara on a weekly basis for the last 6 months or so and it has been a very pleasant experience. From the minute you walk in you are greeted with smiles and directed to an available table of your choice. The young ladies who work there are super nice, pleasant and always make sure you get the best service possible. Odisa,Kejda and Ingrid are always there for their customers and they Don't miss a beat.Anything we have ever ordered was made to perfection starting with fresh bread, great salads and delightful fish, seafood and poultry. We'r very glad we found this Turkish jewel on the island.Try it and enjoy. ??Teşekkürler

The whole dining experience was a 10 out of 10. The atmosphere was casual, clean and friendly. Our waitress was charming and helpful. The food came quickly and was GOOD. Dessert was GOOOD. The three of us have agreed to return together and separately. I have already recommend it to friends.

Visited Grand Sahara yesterday for the first time for a pickup order. The staff was very nice and welcomed me with a smile. The hummus was very tasty and we loved the Turkish bread. The sigara burek was awesome, nice and crispy and flavorful. Chicken kebabs very tender and flavorful and lamb gyro had a beautiful lamb flavor and seasoned beautifully. To top it off we had the baklava which was a perfect dessert. The portions were generous and the price was right. We will definitely return.

Yes we would absolutely recommend! The owner Tony welcomed us and spent a while chatting. He ended up giving us a whole 1lb bag of loose tea to bring home! Our server Adisa we extremely friendly and attentive. She said she was their best waitress, she wasn’t kidding! We will definitely be regulars!

Terrible experience especially on EID. We had reservations and still had to wait 15 minutes for them to put a table together for us. The spot was tight and uncomfortable with elbows hitting the table behind and in front of us. The entire restaurant was hot as if there was no air circulation. Ordered multiple entrees and the restaurant decided to place all the food on one plate. This was for a party of 15 and the food needed to be distributed equally. I confronted the staff about the issue and was told "we ran out of plates". They did not apologize nor offer any type of compensation. This is unacceptable and not right. We ended up passing a huge dish around with food spilling all over the table. It was a mess! I'm paying for service and received nothing but the bare minimum if even. The food portioning was small and tasted nothing like Turkish food. Save yourself the hassle and take a trip to Brooklyn where you'll find better food and service.
