Great food and service. Really enjoyed the entire experience.
We have been coming here for over 20 years. First wooden chop sticks got replaced with plastic, then with chip fan era ones. Well, you could understand that, people like to carry away something to memories the event. But yesterday I was shocked to realize that nice Asian plates that make all the experience unpick were gone, food comes on chip white ones.I guess the thought was Americans won’t notice, they travel abroad wearing a pair of sketchers they dig for wide in the their back yard, but Americans don’t go to fishimi, they don’t eat raw fish, they spit out cavia. You will lose your regular customers that pay attention to ambiance , and dishes are a major factor.Drinks have gone down the drain which is a shame. They got rid of a bartender, they think anyone could make a drink. Well chip vodka overwhelms the taste of anything, leachi martini are now just 3 of them on a stick that are supposed to be making up for leechi juice , well it does not. They also don’t bother to make arrangements on your plate any more. It’s history. It is simple now. Squid for fried calamari comes from frozen from shoprite.Don’t bother with special rolls, they have less and less fish and rice could be overcooked. We just came from Korean restaurant in the city, $$, they bother with traditional dishes. It makes me feel you disrespect your customers, you think lower of them than of yourself.I put 4 stars only for quality of raw fish, which we have been getting lately?
Best place in Island to dine and to celebrate any occasion. Its ambiance, warmth, decor, and excellent service makes every occasion special .. love it .. always look forward to going.
Pricey but consistently good. I can always rely on Fushimi to offer a great sushi meal and service. The special rolls are a good size. I recommend the pink lady roll. Salmon, sweet Ebi shrimp and uni are my go-to picks.
Absolutely best place for sushi in Staten Island. Everything is always consistent and always delicious. Staff is friendly
The food is always great and the ambiance is very nice. The server that we had was also great. I think it's my favorite restaurant in Staten Island
Nicely presented sushi & sashimi. Interior is pleasantly decorated. Had a party in a private room. Service was nice and thr good cake out quickly, also plated nicely. Enjoy!
Always the best and freshest Shushi Sashimi on Staten Island.
Solid Japanese lounge. Good service. Good alcohol. Great food. Kinda Pricey.Parking. Should be spots open in the front in not you can just find one across the street or a block or two over. Easy no hassle.Interior: Very nice. Bringin the NYC vibe of lounges into Staten Island. Pleasing to the eye and very high decor points for them. Dress well or dress up a little if you don't want to feel left out lolDrinks:Lychee Sake: Sparkling drink. But looks mad fancy and of course Lychee was great. Pricey but worth it because you should know what your getting in for.Black Sake: This straight up alcohol is also good not the best but still got to love the bottles they come in.Food:Crispy Calamari: Awesome. Just enough spice and crunch to make this indeed crispy and good.Spicy Salmon Roll: Eh. Wasn't bad but just taste like any other roll I've had in Staten IslandOverall: Great lounge spot if you don't want to go all the way to the city and want to drink and chill with you friends while feeling fancy.
Fushimi have the best sushi and best lychee martini in Staten Island!
