Very disappointingAfter waiting 20 minutes for an online order pickup I was told they tried to call me as they were out of the flavor of the month. I had no missed calls.I ordered 5 - 2 scoop sundaes, 3 of them were ups side down in the bag. When I complained I was told by the manager he did not bag the order but would rebag I it for me. I don’t get why people just can’t do their jobs.The order was not right and half the size of what they used to be.It’s not worth going to Eggers any more.

This is the first time I have been disappointed with an order. I ordered a cake for my husband's birthday with cherry vanilla and cookies and cream. The cake barely had cherries and it tasted like regular vanilla.

As a lifelong Staten Islander, I’ve been going to Eggers since I’m a kid. So, it kills me that it’s gotten so expensive for the average family. But, I love the ice cream and I’m a loyal customer. So, I pay the price and wait on line like everyone else. However, tonight was really my last straw. Richmond town is by far the most inconsistent and unreliable location. Time and time again it says it’s open only to arrive and find it’s closed. Hours are never reflective of what they say on line and if you call the main location on Forest they have no idea what the story is. The season was supposed to start on May 13th but I’ve yet to see it open. Disappointing.

NUT ALLERGY beware! If i could give them 0 stars I would. This place is completley careless and reckless with customers lives. They claim to that their ice cream is nut free and gluten free and egg free. They LIE! After they completley messed up our birthday cake order they sent us a tub of the same flavor ice cream to our home during the party. I read the ingredients list and it lists wheat, peanuts, eggs. Even though I was assured 5 different times that the ice cream does not contain any of those ingredients. They literally could have killed 3 different children with severe nut and egg allergies at the party. Completley unacceptable. If you have an allergy beware of their false advertisment and wrecklessness!

There is nothing like homemade ice cream especially when it’s a local favorite. No complaints here the selection is up-to-par and I’ve always enjoyed the sweet treats here!

I literally just now brought my 5-year-old daughter here because we just missed the ice cream truck and I told her I would get her ice cream for doing well in school. We walked into Edgar's on Forest Avenue and we were completely ignored by the 2 young woman that were working there. When they did make eye contact they looked completely miserable, with the most unwelcoming look I have ever seen. We were ignored for 7 straight minutes while I stood there with my young daughter in my arms, who was looking forward to her strawberry ice cream. Eventually I got fed up and I said we're out of here. There was no one else in the store! I couldn't believe that we were just ignored like that! I know Staten Island has terrible customer service, but this is one of the worst that I've experienced in a long while. My family will never go here again.From reading other reviews I see that this is an ongoing problem. I don't know if the owners aren't reading these reviews but something needs to be done about these miserable workers they have working there.

Great service. Polite crew and FANTASTIC Ice Cream.

Placed an order online at 8:11 pm. Arrived at store 8:32 to pick up curbside order. Waited until 8:49 to go inside and see what was up. Indeed they were busy, but no one acknowledged the counter or growing line for over 5 minutes until I called the attention of the staff. She then located my ticket and informed me that my order had not even been started yet. Long story short, I didn't walk out of there until almost 9:30 with my ice cream. I understand long waits with the coming season but maybe put a better system in place for online orders. Ice cream was amazing though.

I ordered a cake for my mother on Monday & spoke to a staff member who said they’d need a few days to make the cake. Thursday was the date of pickup & they had no trace of my order initially until I showed them my email confirmation that stated the cake should have been ready today, March 10th. The manager was unapologetic and instead told me that my cake had been ready since Monday to which I never came to pick it up. 0/10 for how she handled the situation, there was no communication. And furthermore the cake couldn’t have been ready Monday when I placed the order Monday and got a verbal confirmation from a team member that it would not be ready the same day.
