I grew up in the area. Pelton Avenue. Duffy's has been there forever. Finally tried with my wife yesterday, which was Father's Day. We were looking forward to trying the "best burger on the island".The burger did not disappoint. Good fries too... reminded me of the beach boardwalk fries in the summer. Crinkle cut.The greeting, seating and service was a little cold. I think the server was upset about something related to work but eventually he seemed to loosen up. The outdoor seating was a pretty comfortable environment in good weather.We're foodies, belonging to a larger group and will be back with more of us.
Cool spot, delicious burger. Flavor of the meat stood out. Sweet potato fries very good. Appetizers also good.
Great place to enjoy friends and delicious food! Wings were spectacular! Burgers are served on an English muffin tasty! Loved the French fries! We had a bit of everything and were not disappointed.
Had an amazing cheddar bacon cheeseburger with fried onions and Cole slaw on the side with onion rings I can't help but to keep the burgers in there in my personal top #10 favorite burgers only to be beaten by Jackson hole ?️ the burger ? spot on the ground floor of a brownstone building in Manhattan and another place that I will keep secret because I don't want to ruin try the quiet atmosphere of I try with a flood of people pretending to understand what a good hamburger comes down to it's not just the meat it's also the bread and it's also how little they touch and shape the meat into a disk the less they do the better for me and it's also a good pickle that really helps along with a good quality cheese so my fellow foodies enjoy your tongue ? tingling tastetastic endeavors just keep me posted on some of them amazing places to go to as well...
Everything was delicious ! my only suggestion is that maybe they can get the king size English muffins for the burgers ..my burger was twice the size of the bun ..but it was still delicious
First time there.Had a couple of drinks after a party at the Staaten.Great bartender took care of us right away. Atmosphere was very nice.Enjoyed it.
The food and service were excellent.
Horrible experience. We didn’t get to eat. Walked in and the waiter was nasty from the get-go. I asked if we could move our table bc people at the bar were very loud. The waiter said I could leave if I didn’t like it. I left and will NEVER go back!
If you want a Burger Duffy's is the place to go and has been the best Burger place I have ever Been to!! Highly recommendable
I dont need to tell you, The sign does. This place is a Staten Island Favorite and staple in the community. Enjoy a french onion soup and burger and a beer, but they got a full bar. Seating for all.
