The tacos are so delicious! The prices were very low too.
Placed an order 2 Saturdays ago. 5 items ordered. Once the order was placed grubhub notified me it would be about 1hr -1hr 10 mins. 25 mins in I got a call from the kitchen manager to inform me that 1 of the items I order was out of stock at the moment. (I actually ordered 2 orders of this desert) I told them to just take it off and he insisted he would send it to me Monday. I told him not to worry, just take it off my order. The food arrived after 2 hr and 25 mins. Guess what, it was cold. And it wasn't worth the wait. Not only was it missing the thing I wanted most, the street corn was lacking flavor, the Mexican beef tacos were dry, I got a bunch of bone chunks and 1 had about 4 inches of silverback in the meat. Idk how the chef missed that. The rice had a smokey flavor I wasn't a fan of, wasn't expecting that. The best part was the beans. Order placed on the 27th, I called the 29th to let them know they charged me the extra $11.00 for the items they didn't have. I was told they would call back the next day, guess what they didn't do... I called them back the next day and the kitchen manager remembered me, he said he was sorry and he would have it refunded online and if he couldn't he would deliver my refund. I just checked today, 5th and it still has the full charge on my credit card. I just opened grubhub and asked them for help and it is being refunded directly from them now in the next 5 days. Very surprised since this is basically portobello cafe but whatever. I won't be ordering again. Sucks because I really wanted the sweet corn tomalitos. Good luck staying in business.
Tacos are very good, made with great quality meat and produce. They were very fresh and delicious. I strongly recommend this place to all.
