Was suggested this adorable cafe from a friend. Tried the vegan French toast, the mushroom sandwich (day's special), a regular latte, a chocolate chip vegan and oatmeal raisin cookie. By far my favorite was the French toast. I must add the servers there were the sweetest; everyone who came in the cafe were treated as friends. Definitely coming back for the French toast!Went back a few days ago, took my sister and she had the regular French toast and loved it. I tried the vegan "chic-en" salad sandwich and definitely not what I was expecting in the most humble and delicious way speaking ?. So far that was my favorite even topping my vegan French toast.
I was so excited to go here when A friend recommended a vegan restaurant in the area. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. We got there about half an hour before closing time and the sky made it very clear that they were closing. Even going as far as to ask what time it was. The first vegan café that doesn't have a salad? Or a soup? The options were very limited and when finally settling on a chicken salad it was a chicken salad sandwich on a stale bun. The whole gluten-free option was never offered and that was primarily why we went. Don't waste your money time or positive energy on this negative dirty establishment
My weekend breakfast eatery. I discovered this place recently and it is a treat. My wife and I are vegan and they have quite the selection of vegan options, especially for breakfast. Highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is sheek and trendy. The employees are very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. The vegan options of latte are amazing as well. I'm not a coffee drinker, but whenever I go to this cafe I have to drink an iced latte. The owner is friendly and in the mix with her employees. Leads by example which is great to see. Highly recommend anyone, vegan or not to try stopping in and treating yourself to some of their many delights!!
Owner was a sweetheart.. this place is more on the vegan side and myblittle guy was not happy. My older son had a bagel and loved it. I had an Americano and cheese Danish and it was yummy.Only reason I gave it a 4 was it has a very limited menu.Otherwise very good.
The associates were very helpful in helping me pick something to try on the menu. A new experience, they have vegan, gluten free and also regular choices. I had the vegan waffle and my Son had the plant based burger. Everything was fresh and quite tasty. Decor was inviting and suttle..I also had a Spanish coffee. Good experience, good food and good place, with plenty of choices. I will go back.
Love the atmosphere and design of the space - it's airy and peaceful. Had their coffee all throughout October and got the pumpkin spice oat milk latte. It had the perfect sweetness and was sooo good. I also really enjoy their avocado toast and chocolate croissant pictured below. The toast if very filling and the croissant is light and flakey. The prices are a bit high so I come here more as a treat.
Had the stuff French Toast and Chai iced latte it was delicious. Also got some snacks to go.
Love this place! It’s great for vegan and gluten free options on Staten Island. Sit down cafe for morning and early afternoon!
Nice and cozy place everything was delicious and fresh, staff very friendly and helpful. Recommended 100%.
The vegan desserts are all delicious!! Not many places skill it at those. The vegan egg sandwich keeps me going back, and the cafe is not just vegan. Such a great neighborhood spot. Bring it to empire!!
