The food is terrific, staff is friendly and the vibe is totally relaxing! It's our new favorite breakfast spot!!
Love this place! Very relaxing.
Cozy, friendly and chill… ❤️
Stopped in for breakfast waited in line. The gentleman in front of us was helped and treated nicely,. My friend and I were next on line to order, we were chit chating in Spanish to one another. We were ignored by the young African American girl, who went straight to the guy behind us who was already being assisted . I can only imagine we were ignored because we were speaking Spanish. Never more humiliated .
This was my first time coming here. Absolutely delicious. I tried the strawberry and cream frappe. Right away I could tell it was made with natural strawberry and vanilla cream. Didn’t taste processed or overly sweet. It was a nice, refreshing drink for a warm spring day. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other stuff on the menu.
The St. George Theatre is so thankful to Beans and Leaves for being a restaurant sponsor at our May 7, 2022 gala. Megan & staff were wonderful to work with . Her coffee station was presented beautifully and of course a big hit. Ahhhhh the wonderful aroma of fresh brewed coffee after a show was such a nice treat! No wonder they're our favorite SI cafe!! And did I mention they make the best waffles! Thank you ~ Thank you ~ Thank you ~ not only for having such a great place and great staff but for being so community minded. We are so grateful for all you do. xoxoxox
The staff are great, they have a good selection of baked goods, it's a nice place if you just want to sit down and chat with some friends over coffee, and if you use coffee as a vessel to consume milk and sweeteners, you'll love this place. That being said, if you enjoy the taste of coffee and want something more than "black caffeine water", then this isn't the place you're looking for. I came in for a bag of beans and ordered a hot black coffee and the quality of the beans was on par with Starbucks or Kirkland. I was hoping for a local spot similar to Stumptown or Cafe Grumpy, but unfortunately this is not it.I'm giving it three stars because they have good baked items, the staff are great, and if Starbucks is your favorite coffee then you will not be disappointed here, but if you're the kind of person with a coffee grinder and pour over setup at home, you won't enjoy this place.
Grossly understaffed place. Came in there were two people in the whole place. I ordered two coffees and an egg sandwich. My sandwich never came after 10 minutes we told someone we told three different people never got the egg sandwich after a half an hour told him to cancel the order and left there all children working there. The place is not what it used to be
My daughter loves this place and was excited for us to go for brunch together. It was upsetting when we watched 4 people who ordered after us get their food first and finish, after an hour of waiting we had to ask where our food was. Felt NEGLECTED by the workers when they didn’t acknowledge we hadn’t been served, and I had to GET UP and ask 3 different workers before I got any answers about when our food would be coming out. We asked for it to go because my daughter and I had to be somewhere, we left with NO BREAKFAST and a BAD START to our day. We hope to see improvement with this bad service. Attention owner, please talk to your workers this was a disappointment.
This place has been here for as long as I can remember. They have very loyal customers and is frequented by many. Had a relaxing breakfast with a friend here. Did have a small problem with one of the staff getting our order correct but would not stop me from returning. First time ordering the frittata with only vegetables. Just an FYI as it tasted salted although I ordered with no meat or cheese. They had expanded to next door, so many more tables to sit at. You order at the counter, and they will bring your order to you. This is not waitress service, so don't expect them to come by and clean up once you're finished eating. On street parking available. Give them a try.
