Service great, but disappointed in the quality of the food. I ordered a pork chop that arrived tough, hard to cut and chewy. Pesto pasta over seasoned and salty. Fresh ravioli was good.

Very nice place to sit and relax.
The food is amazing .. authentic feel. The service was a little slow . The staff loves to talk to people and make it a personal experience but it slows down service . Would recommend making reservations .

You could drive past this restaurant 100 times and miss it. It is tucked away on route 25A in St James. We went with six people and it was recommended by one of the couples. They have outside seating with heaters and inside seating. When we made the reservations we were going to sit outside but the weather was not conducive to dining outside. When we arrived at the restaurant a little early we went to ask about possibly sitting inside and the gentleman said our table was located in the restaurant which was good because it started to rain. All six people shared I feel appetizers. Everybody raved about their meal and the staff was very attentive and polite. This is a restaurant that we will return to because we were treated so nicely.
All good - food, service, etc. The Only complaint was that there was a reggae station playing in the background which was somewhat loud and distracting. I wouldâve preferred a different type of music for dining.
Pietro keeps getting better. Now one of the best restaurants in the Smithtown area.
Awful experience, terrible service and the food wasnât up to par. Will never go back. Almost had to ask for a refund for my main dish, zero flavor and quite honestly, didnât even eat it. Service was rough, everything took forever, 25 minutes for a drink is a joke. Never again will I go back, Iâm hoping to call and request a refund.
We had an incredible first dining experience at Pietros. The outside dining was perfect for a summer evening. The drinks were delicious, and the food menu had something for everyone. The table had steak for two, bronzino and chicken. The portions were more than generous. Highly recommend Pietros
