As always, exceptional cuisine in a lovely setting.
Went with high expectations and they exceeded them. Four of us shared the super tasty pasta in the cheese wheel with shaved truffles as a mid course. The wood grilled suckling pig and veal chop were over the top delicious and tender. The Italian cheesecake was one of the best and creamiest we have ever tasted. Excellent service throughout the meal.

Came back for the truffle/parmesan pasta special. Sadly, the dish was a great diappointment. In the past the pasta was perfectly cooked and the truffle flavor/aroma was exquisite. This time the pasta (tagliatelle) was overcooked and the tuffles lacked the distinctive flavor and aroma, even though the table server sliced a generous amount onto the dish. Maybe truffles vary in their flavor over time, but it should not be rocket science for a kitchen to produce pasta that doesn't stick together like glue.
This was are second visit to the restaurant, as in the case of our first visit the service, attention to detail and the food were excellent.
We had a very nice evening, celebrated our anniversary there.
