I went last Saturday to have some fun late night and I was looking for a nice bar and lounge to go to and this was definitely the spot to go to. $10 cover, $4 Corona and a live DJ! Got there 1 am. Stayed till 3 am when it closed. DJ kept the party going all night long. DJ nook. 35th birthday going on in the vip area to the right. Exits very clearly marked to my left, right, and behind me and in front of me as well. Very safe, secure facility, lots of ladies and men having fun and drinking around me. Very bright led lighting to signal closing time at 3 am and DJ was still playing the music when the work lights came on. All in all, it a great business for Schenectady and I will be back! Great bar off to the right as well. Will check out the attached restaurant as well. Only went inside the bar and lounge.

Decided to have lunch here with my mom and sister. I found the staff to be very pleasant, however service was not the greatest. We ordered appetizers, which they forgot about, plus there was a long wait time to get your food. I reminded the waitress that we ordered an appetizer. When it finally arrived, we realized the dipping sauce that it was supposed to come with was missing. It took another 20mins to flag her down for the dipping sauce, only to be told they are OUT OF IT, lol. It would be good customer service to let your customer know beforehand that you are out of that item that is a part of their meal. My biggest complaint though was the loud music. It was almost club level loud! You can’t have a normal conversation. Why so loud, Tropics? The music is great, just turn it down a little. It was so bad, we actually contemplated leaving after about 15 mins.
