I heard about this place all week because last time I flew out early and missed the brunch trip. Let’s just say it did not live up to the hype. We waited 45 minutes for our food. When we asked about it, our server nonchalantly said he’d check on it, without apology and as though the thought never occurred to him. My huevos rancheros was fine, nothing to write home about. One in our party got a lukewarm burrito. And someone else was served the wrong dish. It did look like it had a nice patio, though.

Very good corn beef sandwich had to be 3 inch high so good on rye could only eat half.

Mike makes the best sandwiches, and Barbara's potatoe salad is amazing

Fun bar and sandwich place. Sandwiches are a big lump of meat they shave right in front of you. Took a little for staff to warm up to us, but was a good experience overall.

The look and feel of an ol' school tavern, The people, food and most importantly the woman in charge. Well worth a trip the an upstate food treasure. Was special... Sandwiches legendary....

Absolute best sandwiches around! And the well known cantankerous owners are a hoot! Definitely go and enjoy the abuse will downing a beer at this neighborhood gem!

Sandwiches are enormous! Real roast beef, turkey. corned beef and ham.

Sandwich was good with lots of meat. Potato salad just ok.

Great sandwiches and stiff drinks

Old time city bar renowned for its massive, fresh sliced sandwiches in the city's Stockade district. Wide ranging spirits and beers. Not much in the wine department.
