Pizza is outstanding. If I had only gotten pizza it would be 5 stars. The sauce is delicious, dough is flavorful and fresh. Wings are absolutely lousy. They taste like they've either sat around for awhile or they were cooked a few times too many. I expected better for the price. Also, it's worth mentioning that prices for wings have come back down to a reasonable number in the last month or two and restaurants are still charging crazy prices for them.
I order from them a lot and it is usually good, but not today Hardly any cheese on the pizza, it was delivered cold ordered a large pizza and Fritta and a 2 litter Diet Pepsi.pizza and Fritta were cold and hard to chew. The person taking my order was hard to understand. Didn’t get my Diet Pepsi as what the delivered was a Mountain Dew. The delivery guy came back to correct my order but he only bought a 20 ounce not the 2 Litter that I ordered.
So I’ve never been here before, and I only got a slice of chicken bacon ranch…. It was such a great piece of pizza….
My daughter and I frequent Slice of Glenville, it is one of her favorite places to go for lunch after preschool. The owner cuts her giant slice of cheese in half for her, gives her a cup and a straw for the soft drink we split from the cooler and gives her a free cookie when we go there. My daughter tells me all the time, that she wants to go see her friend at the pizza shop. They are super family friendly, the food is consistently delicious and the atmosphere is very laid back. We highly recommend you stop in for a Slice!
we really enjoyed the House Pizza. They have regular traditional pies as well. But I came for this style. The best description would be a cheese on the bottom pizza or more accurately the cheese is a top the crust then sauced. We ordered it as the large square size. They will make it round as well and in 2 sizes. It's a crispy crust, then the layer of cheese with a savory red sauce, then finished off with a toss of parmesan cheese. It's Pizza, sure. But that little change is a whole different pizza experience. The place has plenty of seats, booths and tables. Very causal. Order at the counter service to the table. Looks like a nice selection of wings and sauce choices, subs, salads and other dinner choices. I would go back again just for that pie, but I will definitely try more items next time.
I love the food and the staff is even better. I am always please with the outcome when I order from this place. It is family oriented and I always feel like I get a quality outcome for the value.
I love slice. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been great. Their food is awesome. They are VERY patient with me on the phone as well, especially when I have kids yelling what they want in the background ??♀️ there’s nothing worse than getting a rude person taking your order and feeling rushed…which Slice never does.
My wife and I moved to Ballston Spa from the greater Utica area and were very excited to see a pizzeria that had some menu items with a taste of "home." They had Utica greens and pizza Utica style! And... Grubhub would deliver to our house! So we ordered an XL pizza, small Utica greens and some boneless wings... $72!! wow, guess that's just what food costs in 2021. The pizza came NY style not Utica style like we ordered, we called and they offered to remake and send or put a credit in "the book" for us... ok what else can you do to fix that mistake?... $72 for not what we ordered but maybe I take the family down there next week and try the Utica style Pizza, so I chose the credit... Grubhub asks me to review my experience so I do and explain my food was not made correctly, after a lengthy chat they credit me $29... ok $43 for food we didn't order is a bit more tolerable and we can still give Slice of Glenville one more chance. They actually take the time to call me not once but twice today on Sunday to inform me my credit has been taken off the books because Grubhub credited me also... WOW great customer service... Utica greens were bland, boneless wings were gross and oily and the pizza tasted like a slice of bread with no flavor in the dough or sauce, not the taste of home we were looking for... We will not be doing business with these guys again... Digiorno has it all over this place!!!
I love this place. The staff is great, the food is always good and the amount of food exceeds the value. Thank you for being a great neighborhood spot and being consistent!
